Kyocera Half Speed mode Prescribe Command

    Hi,
    I have an unusual problem.
I use a Kyocera fs-4200 dn printer for an old mailing device at work.
The problem is that sometimes pages print too quickly one after another and a paper jam occurs at the mailing machine input.
As far as I know the printers offer half speed mode. This can be set in the driver. The problem is that our printer works as an LPT printer under DOS without a driver.
Is there a Prescribe command to set the Half Speed function from DOS or the command line?

How about setting the media to a heavier weight?

We used to do this - but it turned out that the drum was very quickly clogged with seized waste toner. Also Helix shaft breaks from toner discharge.
We use Light and Normal preprinted paper only.

you are in luck. i have a fs2100 and a fs4200. i have the 2100 installed, but not the 4200. but since the print driver is the same. i saw this thread and was curious. looking under printing preferences i found the half speed mode. this is my one new thing learned for the day. as i had never even heard of this before. probably because i have never had a need, but still....

so i see you use it as LPT, but what if you hook it up USB and install the print driver?
