Kyocera Ecosys P3155dn Printing Issue
Hello everyone,
The toner is not fusing to the paper. It flakes or rubs off the page.
The customer is using A4 paper 160gsm (preprinted) and I've verified that the media (paper/card) used matches the printer setting.
Machine total counter: 2043 pages and Toner is genuine. Firmware 2020 and A4 paper 80gsm printing is ok.
I've tried different types of media: Preprinted, Cardstock, Thick (Extra Heavy) and set the machine to Quiet mode but the toner is still not adhering properly.
Thanks in advance.

OEM toner? is using the bypass tray, no duplex? Try another thick paper.

It could just be that type of paper has a coating on it, Is it super glossy?

Re: Kyocera Ecosys P3155dn Printing Issue
had this happen to me last fall. brand new p3145 running 176gsm paper through the bypass-220gsm is max, not fusing. spent many hours experimenting and working with tech support and here trying to find a solution. tried new fuser that they sent me- no difference. vendor wasn't alot of help and nobody could come up with a fix. pulled machine and sold them a brother that works just fine and had the straight paper path- nice feature when you're running card stock. i got tired of getting run around from vendor and quit trying to figure out the remedy. found printer -with 485 page count- in warehouse 2 weeks ago and sold it to an accounting firm, they've used and it works in that application so i even made more money- due to inflation- than last year. would say i gave up on kyocera laser printers but they are not available for the most part anyhow but i am probably going avoid their printers . remedy i would say is do not sell them to people using heavy throughput. sorry i don't have better news but maybe i can save you some time. tuey
