Kyocera Printer Maintenance Message

Hello,

is there a possibility to reset the display message without that the printer will do
a installation routine. I know when I press "new drum" in the menu the printer resets it but makes
a installing routine. Drum is quite new but not so new so I fear I will have problems with stripes afterward.
I've already made this experience.

Is it a printer or a copier? I know in the copiers you can extend messages of life counts but not sure about the printers.

Sorry I've forgot to say it's a P3155.

I believe your only option is though the control panel and reset maintenance kit/ drum count, etc.
