    t652 937.70 service transport motor

have a t652 that i just put a new fuser in and within a couple of days it started throwing the 937.70 code. on/off they say has fixed it but it keeps coming back. is the transport motor replacement the only fix?

A 937.70 is a main drive motor failure.

Are you able to install the old fuser to test? Maybe there is something wrong with the new fuser? Make sure the fuser drive linkage is properly installed. Had one pop off on a T642.

after i put the fuser in ,it went into warm up and the screen went dark, like a bad power supply. i asked if this had happened before they told me yes but we switch it on/off a couple of times and it worked. checked new fuser to see if it turned freely and it did. when it finally came to ready it coded out. with 800k and given it's at a pharmacy i'll recommend upgrading, but it'll be their call. i think i may have changed the main drive out a few years ago on this. i've never seen the screen go dark on a lexmark before. thanks--tuey

I know about the LVPS isues with lexmarks and blank displays. i changed the fuser out because of toner build up-- could that be lvps related also? the screen goes blank its after it comes to complete ready. thanks--tuey

It's possible the LVPS is going out. I've had to replace a couple on T642's over the years.
