Question Lexmark XM1246 - fax log image display

Good morning all. I have a client who is sending faxes from an XM1246. It is set to output a log every time a TX is sent. On the output of this log it does not display an image of the first page of the fax. I did not see anywhere in the RUI to enable the image to be displayed. Can someone offer me some guidance on where to enable this option? Thanks.

what does the image look like if you print an internal report? or if you just make a copy in general? so does something appear on a second page or any after?

Machine prints and copies just fine. The issue is when the device prints the fax confirmation page, the confirmation page does not contain an image of the first page of the faxed document. Ive included what it should look like. Where it shows the image of the page the clients machine doesnt show the image. I hope this is making sense.

so it prints the confirmation that the fax sent or failed. you just want to add the image of the first page correct? so they can look and tell which fax was sent?

look under the fax settings, though some will add that image and some will not.

You are correct in what I am trying to accomplish however I could not for the life of me find anywhere in the RUI where to turn on to display the image.

I do not think this device offers the feature you are looking for in the most current version of Lexmark's eTask operating system. A miniature image of the 1st page of a multi page transmission.

The Lexmark XM1246 is afterall a low end colour A4 MFP with a very high cost per copy.

I have a Lexmark C4140 using the same OS with latest firmware and I cannot find that feature.

This feature is common on most A3 copiers.

Press Fax, on the left side of the LCD panel scroll down to Transmission Log. Select Transmission Log Action, Select Print.

There are a lot of hidden menus in the Lexmark eTask display and web browser, often making things difficult to find ever when using the Search function in the Web Browser.
