Sorry to offend. I’m out in the boondocks and do what I can. I can get the SM when I drive the 35 miles back to my shop. My mistake for thinking someone would be kind enough to provide the info. Why are you on this site?

you had the manual and didn't take it with you?
did you leave your screw driver 'back at the office' also?
part of being a competent tech is to follow the BSA rule " ALWAYS BE PREPARED "
get the idea?

I don't reply to private messages from end users.
Ok. So this site is now for tech bashing rather than helping? I have helped many many people on here privately and have even monetarily supported this site. If you don’t want to help don’t post annoying crap
Fuser must be replaced new.
There is no fuser reset its built into fuser like a one time fuse.

NOTICE:
After 40X7743/40X8420 fuser/maintenance kit has reached its End of Life (EOL), the printer
will stop functioning and fusing assembly will need to be replaced. This is controlled by a
function built-in to the fuser by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to track page
count.
Prior to 40X7743/40X8420 reaching its EOL, the following 80.xy or Scheduled Maintenance
error messages will be received via the control panel:
80.0x "Replace Maintenance kit"—nearly low
80.1x "Replace Maintenance kit"—low
80.2x "Replace Maintenance kit"—very low, 2000 estimated pages remain
80.3x "Replace Maintenance kit"—low, 0 estimated pages remain
80.4x "Replace Maintenance kit"—very low, 0 estimated pages remain
These messages are not indicators of a fuser error, but rather warning the customer that the
fusing component is reaching or has reached its EOL. Customers receiving these errors must
purchase a replacement 40X7743 fusing assembly or 40X8420 maintenance kit.

Haven't seen it often but we have encountered the PM message remain after installing a new OEM Lexmark PM kit in this series.
I have been able to replace the reset chip in the those fusers to make them reset the message.
