    XC9200 Series impressions

We've been a Lexmark dealer for around 2 years and have had good results with the A4 line, such as: XC4140, XM3250, XM7355. We're thinking about trying the A3 line, XC9200 series. I have just a few questions for any techs with experience on this box:

    1. Is this a rebadged Konica Minolta?
    2. How reliable have they been? (I know that no machine is perfect, but have these been money pits?)
    3. If they are rebadged KM's, how is Lexmark support on this model?

Thanks in advance for any observations you may have on this series!
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?

    So... nobody's worked on these?

the 9200 line seems ok to me. as you stated no machine is perfect. i have dealt with 9235, 9245,9255, and 9265. we don't have a lot of them out, but the ones i have worked on seem alright.

    Re: XC9200 Series impressions

I have a bunch of 9235's in a manufacturing facility.

They do pretty good - not much to do on a machine where everything is a tossaway replace unit.

Complaints from the users is noise (squeaks) which they do with a mostly empty toner and/or mostly empty WT.

Old school black patch in the RADF likes to dust up and cause misfeeds but its a 2 second fix.

Tech support for them is useless. Our Lexmark reps are also useless.
I would not put them on any contract past 3 years.

Image quality is convivence color and any of the Toshiba color boxes will spank its a$$ in color half tone quality but spot color / business class color is good.

Only had really one odd or expensive issue, One of them keeps eating a LSU, one every year...thinking its power outages.
