    Cx410de. Black bands smeared

Intermediate black horizontal smeared bands and image registration shifting on the page, either by copying straight off the glass or printing to it doesn't make a difference.
Tried cleaning pickup rollers. Seems like a slipping registration clutch, but machine doesn't seem to have one. Seems its direct driven by feed motor with an encoder that counts timing pulses. Need suggestions on weather just need to replace whole feed head assembly or is there something else to check or adjust. Printer has less then 10k prints on it.
