That would be more troublesome as we already paid for the 10 card readers, i'd rather avoid going through another procurement process.

I have pcprox but it doesn't create the ICC_LDR.tar file. I can mess with the configuration but it does not let me generate a driver.

if we do that, the mfd will complain that it cannot find an authentication device because the card reader is recognized as a USB keyboard.
