    Muratec mfx 1700 driver

Trying to load drivers and print to Muratec mfx 1700. Customer moved equipment to new location and now won't print. I installed the drivers and set up a tcp/ip address, set to raw, port 9100, enabled snmp. I can ping the printer address on the printer, but can't print. I am a copier tech, not very good with ip stuff.

From my past experiences with Muratecs, you have to install the drivers from the OfficeBridge(OB) installation CD, unless there's been a PCL board installed in to the Muratec which allows you to use a standard TCP/IP port versus the proprietary Muratec OB port. Download the MFX-1700 OB CD from Muratec.com - Support and run the setup. **remember to choose "network", not "local"**

Thanks for sharing the link to the muratec cd's. I needed it for my MFX-1600 machine.
