Ricoh MP C3003 ghosting

hello world , I have a interesting issue with a Ricoh mp c 3003, the copier only has 40k on it but lately I been getting some ghosting, weather is getting a little cooler, I know its the fuser unit because the image is smearing a little on the top of the page and bottom as well, and it happens intermittently, I know on the older B/W Ricoh's you can set Idling time , can you adjust this on the Color Models as well?

Wrong forum but replace/rebuild the fuser, may only have 40K on it but may be around 5 years old.
