GBC Ultra Jam Code J149 I can not find it in manual or what it means.

Anyone with information on Jam code J149 on the GBC punch. Looks like its some type of generic jam. But I can find nothing on it.

no way... This is a thread that has been setup for the gitgo

logic would tell one that Newbie Check In (with an explanation at the start) what the thread was pertaining to.

funny thing is.. I DIDN'T THROW ANY RED FLAG ON YOU!

guess other techs didn't care for what/where you posted..

if you start sharing valuable information and get likes/thanks those red cards will disappear.

and this site was mainly set up for helping fellow TECHS with their issues. We do try and help end users that show some willingness to work with us.

techs and end user that want to cop an attitude will be blocked by others and red flagged... if they cause multiple problems then site ADMIN gets involved and that isn't a pretty sight, as you can imagine.

It has been several years but I seem to recall the jams in the GBC accessories had a different prefix than the J that began the main body jams. If I am wrong, it wouldn't be the first time. What does J149 show in the main body jam codes of the machine you are working on?

Phil, the comment of his/her you quoted is what earned a red flag. I have noticed lately that with my current Rep Power, I now throw 2 red cards with each flag.

No J149 mentioned in VR52 service manual. Again, I would check the jam code in the main body service manual for whatever model it is attatched to.
