    Seattle Newb

    Hello all,

I make a noble attempt at fixing copiers (and customers) with a (once) locally owned Western WA company. I've grown with them up from a small crew of a handful of techs (our lone dispatcher took calls on 3x5 index cards from her chainlink "cage" in a corner of the warehouse); through a local merger, then acquisition by a national group. A few years ago we were acquired by Xerox.

Been doing this gig about 16-17 years now and in industry... oh... two and a half decades or so? My, how time flies.

Specialties are Xerox, Ricoh (Gestetner/Savin/Lan... you know the drill), Konica-Minolta and older legacy Konica (Can you say ZMR?); and in particular color and production devices; but not afraid to look at anything that eats toner...

Anyway, as you can see, I'm pretty green.

Hello, hope I can contribute something positive.

    Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    Practice makes perfect
If it ain't broke, don't fix it
A picture is worth a thousand words
If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself

After more than 10 years of an abandoned thread how about leaving it like this?
