printers dont wake up from sleep mode OKI ES5431 ES5432

Hello,

with a big customer of ours, some of the OKI printers dont wake up from sleep-mode when a print-file is beeing sent.

Problem is that the whole machine freezes up, and the only remedy is to unplug the powercable en plug it back in.

This is a problem that occurs once in a while...a few times a week.

Multiple printers are having this problem, different models.

Firmwares have been updated, no conflicting ip adresses, they are installed on a print server via a TCP/IP port.

Any ideas?

Hi,
Are the print drivers going offline?
If so turn off SNMP in the print driver,,go to Port, Configure Port, untick SNMP status enable.
