Xerox phaser 6010n /roller replacement

If I werent approaching 65 years of age and havnt been serviceing(if you can call it that) machines for 45 years I would
probably just cry and get into another line of work,but I think its toooo late for that.All I seem to do is ASK ASK and ASK some more.
Ill just have to settle for crying right now,
Anyway the QUESTION-I need to change the feed roller and Sep pad on a Phaser 6010N(FIRST TIME IM WORKING ON THIS TYPE OF PRINTER)
I looked at the service manual and all I see anywhere is how to disassemble the feed assembly which looks like a NIGHTMARE to do..Is there a way to just
change the feed roller(half moon) and sep pad ,or JUST the feed tire if sep pad is a big pain.

There is, unfortunately no way to replace the roller. Best you can do is use a rubber rejuvenator on it. I've found you can fold a piece of paper in half, put some rejuvenator on the end, put it under the roller and keep trying to print the internal test page just so the roller rotates and gets the rejuvenator on it to clean it.
