I was out replacing a mainetnancebox on a SC-P9000 the other day on a machine thats not been used for a while, and after changing it I did a nozzlecheck and the black ink had 2/3 white lines. the other color looked good, i did a few cleaning cycles of both types in the maintenance menu, but no diffencene on the nozzle check, couldnt do the big cleaning from admin menu as the customer had set a password that they didnt know.

I thought ill swap to the matte ink and run a few more cleanings to see if that would do anything and the machine threw a 1497 error (timeout changing ink) service manual says swap pump motor.

Could this be caused by clogged nozzles or could the cleaning failing be caused by the failed pumpmotor. not sure if I should swap the motor and then still have a clogged printhead problem.

any tips would be appreciated
