2 Epson WF-C20590 different ink consumption

We have a few of this machines in the field.... Two of this machines are at the same customer, but in different locations.... Both machines have almost the same type of work (this customer prints a lot of illustrated books).... Both machines have the SAME settings and the same Firmware and drivers.... Now the problem..... One machine has a normal ink consumption (ink reaches the target)... The other one absolutely not!.... The ink consumption is much higher ( almost the double as the other machine)....... And this can be very expensive...... Any suggestions?

if its not leaking .. could they be doing a "cleaning" every morning?

i show my customers how to do a head cleaning.

also which cartridge are they using? 150ml 350 700?

are they printing in composite color mode?

One thing we have found to increase the ink yields is to change a setting in the driver if they are printing mostly text. This will only affect the print side. It will also show up with light areas if they print pictures, so you will have to determine what the customer is doing and apply it accordingly.
In the driver, right click on the machine and go to Print Preferences, then Maintenance, then Extended settings and the Print Density slide bar is in the lower left corner. Up to -25 should be almost unnoticeable.
This will change the amount of ink used on prints only. It will not affect copies. You will have to decide for yourself if this will help in your situation. Hope this helps someone out there.
