Epson Workforce Wf-c 20590 white stripes and ink smudge

We have 5 Epson in the field... But in 3 of them we encountered a lot of problems, the customers use the machine as they will use a normal Toner machine (15-25k/month) but after a while white stripes appear in irregular intervals. We do a printhead cleaning and the stripes disappear for a while..... But they are back after a few days....... My question is.... It is possible that these Epson machines have the same behavior as a 40 € machine???.... Is there something we can do to prevent this???

make sure an AC vent isn't blowing on it

We use only original Epson ink... And there is no AC.... I'm going mad... The customer is angry.... And no help from Epson

Have you tried reducing the density on the print driver?

Hi there.

If you say you get no help from Epson. I guess that you are trained on the machines by Epson. They are quite tough on helping non-certified technicians.

Well, your first problem is to get a new sales team. The Epson MFP's are NOT meant for high coverage and/or high quality prints. The tech's on the support line will even tell you that. They're meant for cheap office color text and/or logos.

The machines are great, if put in the correct environment, but sales reps see $$$ and don't care what the customer needs vs what the machine can do.

That being said, I would definitely try cleaning the surfaces around the print head, as well as all the fricken paper dust underneath it that accumulates. There are also deep clean options that take 15-20 minutes, but I've never run them.

I am only guessing. Have you tried a better quality paper?
