    Lexmark XC2235 exit noise

working on a sharp mxc357f which is a rebranded Lexmark XC2235. Its making a high pitch noise intermittent at the end of jobs. the noise sounds as if its two gears that are barely touching rubbing up against each other. not causing any jams, codes or copy issues and since the Lexmark machine has been out since 2018 in hoping someone other there has encountered this. the sharp rebranding was in sep. 2020 and as of today 10-19-20 there are no tech bulletins for it.

rubbing noise can be caused by drum cartridges that have been stationary for too long
