    Epson WF-2630

    Hello,

i have a couple of Epson workforce WF-2630 which prints bad. Some donīt print black others have bad testpattern. Is it possible to refurbish this printheads? Maybe with some cleaning fluids? I wish to run them again to prevent more and more electronic waste.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks Michael

have you run the basic and advanced cleaning?

I've found that inactivity and location under/near AC vents will dry them out quick.

I have got one of them at home and I fixed my blocked yellow by doing this.

Put the print head into ink replacement position, remove the inks place a rag to the left of the prinhead (where the paper goes through)

Push the printhead to where the rag is and squirt isopropyl alcohol into the blocked ink.

If this doesn't work, well its a Ģ50 printer

i tried with isopropyl but nothing better... even worse, because no black ink comes out even after many cleaning steps...

printer is not a 50 pound printer.. maybe depends of the € :-)
