What do you mean by memory, factory reset or personal settings? Unlikely cause, to be scrupulous check the switch that has no burns etc otherwise it could be a malfunction of the buffer battery or the controller board.

I mean memory reset and total clear. If is not a malfunction can I check if someone did the reset?

If this machine is used/re-sold it is common practice to de-commission the machine erasing customers private date and print logs.

I have had over-exuberant HP owners accidentally find the "Factory Reset" button, then call me saying that they couldn't print or scan any more. hmmm ... what could it be?

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
