I have an Olivetti d-Copia 5200MF that is smudging / smearing the text/image in certain places , i have tried another drum unit and developer unit but has made no difference see attached sample
check how many pages have the drum, blade, in case replace. Clean the surface of the magnetic roller with a dry cloth.
Have you determined yet whether this is an ADF issue or a printer issue?
Common on Toshiba document feeders: You can get a blur line ~50mm from the trailing edge of the original. Very difficult to resolve with mechanical adjustments. =^..^=

thank you for all the input received , i have sorted the issue out
the problem was on the transfer roller , the holder and spring was broken and missing on the one side replace the holders and springs and issue sorted
