DP-C405 - Says jam in ADF.

Had ADF jam code on machine. Replaced document feeder with one from an in-stock machine. Replacement document feeder says close over. The original document feeder says jam. Both ADF's work on our in-stock machine.

Check for a faulty harness or the SCN pwb. You could also be missing 5v from the LVPS.

Have machine in shop. When doing F4-103 none of the ADF sensors seem to be working. Does this mean scan pwb?

Mojorolla was correct. Its probably the SCN pwb. Follow the harness and you can't miss it. Quick and easy to verify.

In my experience it is most likely the lid harness. Every time the lid is opened, it rubs on the frame. Six screws and the lid will open; the harness is a breeze to replace. If you have another Panasonic color or a DP 80xx series, they use the same lid too.
I can only remember one scanner board going bad in nearly 10 years.

Check the connectors for the touch panel are fully seated too. Had someone replace a touch panel that went bad but didn't get the connectors seated properly, gave ADF jam codes a few days later when the angle was moved back and forth. That was fun to chase back to. I don't remember what exactly they were, sorry.
