So are you retiring or changing career paths? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Good luck in your new career. I could have done the same many years ago. But just got back into fixing typewriters and then copier/printers for the next forty years. Yes I started out in the business in 1972 and finally retired two years ago. Although every now and then I get to tinker with the laser printer in the house.

Better to leave on your own terms rather than getting booted out like me.
    Well done!

Your not Robinson Crusoe.... That Techo resting great day is calling me too...

The younger techs are quicker, (more enthusiastic for money) than I.
The younger Techs keep up with the latest machine innovations.
I know a young Tech in business for himself, he rings me from time to time to help him with hard to fix Printers.
The will to keep learning new machines every year is slowly taking its enthusiasm toll for me. Though I still like learning.

I have an engineering background through family business while growing up. I'm sort of mid stream about following in the family footsteps and going back doing some engineering work again ???? I don't want to walk down the old life pathways again, but money is a motivating factor.
I can scratch around stressed-out going grey making at most $2k a week working for myself as a freelance Tech, or I can follow the family engineering path and make $4-5k worry free, superannuation, holiday pay working for someone else.

The controlling factor at the moment is : Happy wife happy life as we say in Oz....
