Wonder how many on the left will give up their paychecks like Trump did?

... this is what is known as "manufactured outrage".

What the ex President gave up by forgoing his paycheck he took many times that by illegally receiving emoluments he was constitutionally prohibited from receiving.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Net Zero policies are driving up energy bills by £10 billion a year and hitting the poor hardest, according to the Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF).

The government is clearly not unaware of the problem because Energy Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng recently published a policy document — Sustainable Warmth: Protecting Vulnerable Households in England — offering a range of subsidies including a ‘£140 warm home discount’ for those living in ‘vulnerable fuel poor homes.’
But as the GWPF’s energy editor Dr John Constable points out, this is just tinkering at the margins. The real problem is the government’s relentless pursuit of a Net Zero policy the country cannot afford.
The fuel poverty problem as it affects electrically heated low-income households is largely the creation of government policies and in particular the £10 billion a year subsidy cost of renewables, one-third of which hits households through their electricity bills and the remainder through the general cost of living as businesses pass on their costs.
Mr Kwarteng’s measures are wholly inadequate, barely scratching the surface of the electricity bill issue, and leaving the cost of living problem caused by his climate policies quite untouched. As the UK shifts towards electric heating to reduce emissions this problem, already serious, will only get worse.

... so the alternative is to keep on trashing the environment and causing a climate catastrophe? There is a new President in office who on his first day had the USA rejoin the Paris climate agreement.

Energy prices will likely continue to rise as the world economy slowly recovers and the world transitions to renewable energy sources.

    This is the new reality.

Every time we have to pay more for energy or higher taxes, some idiot liberal comes along and tells me it's the new normal.

If you are so concerned about the world wide environment why are you not going after the Peoples Republic of China. They are currently the world's #1 polluter, China, based on per capita emissions of CO2. And they are not reducing their fossil fuel usage. They are increasing it.

Bullshit. He was cleared of ALL those charges.

OH BTW.. before 1/20 gas prices here were $1.7999/gal. The next day they were $1.9999/gal.. today they were set at $2.2999/gal.
    Milk was $2.79/gal today $3.29.
Hamburger was at $3.29/lb today $4.59lb

So indeed Biden has force prices higher.

BSM calling foreign leaders is left up to the POTUS not the VP unless the POTUS is playing Mario Carts.

And according to the Paris Climate Accord it would be not until 2025 they would have had to START to reduce their emissions.
