o7, to those who served, and then, for having to deal with the copier industry after their service. Had 2 uncles who were 82nd and 101st, late 80s to late 90s.

I would like to say... first of all to all of you that have served..

Thank You! From an American Patriot..and an Army brat.

I hope if you lost buddies that you served with in combat.. today will you be able to remember them and the times you had together!

Some may or may not know, I visit with the vets in Fayetteville NC VA hospital.. and through the years.. I have always noticed on this holiday, the guys and gals I visit are very sad and depressed thinking about them.

Please with the 22 recorded suicides of vets per day... IF YOU -=OR=- any vets you know is suffering ..and needs help please contact someone for them.

Veterans Crisis Line: Suicide Prevention Hotline, Text & Chat

But AGAIN, Most of all remember them (and all that have given the ULTIMATE sacrifice) in a good light... remember the joy.. the laughter.. the bonds.

Best Wishes for You and your loved ones that gave to keep the values of our Constitution, and to keep the rest of us free!

    Bless You!

    Phil,
Thank you for visiting with our veterans in the Fayetteville VA hospital. I wonder if you are familiar with the non-profit Pin-ups for Vets or have encountered any of their members visiting at the same time as you?
    Mission Statement:

Pin-Ups For Vets raises funds to improve Veterans' healthcare, donates funds to VA hospitals for medical equipment and program expansion, improves quality of life for ill Veterans across the United States through personal bedside visits to deliver gifts, promotes volunteerism at Veterans Hospitals, supports homeless Veterans with clothing and calendar gifts delivered to shelters, boosts morale for military wives and female Veterans with makeovers and clothing, and boosts morale for deployed troops through delivery of care packages.

One of their fund raisers is the annual production and sales of 1940s style pin-up calendars which they also distribute, free of charge, to veterans during their hospital visits. All of their models are former military.
