    Yes, I trust Alexa, although they recently say that employees can listen to our recordings.


    But not only Alexa, this is also done by Google Home, Siri and other voice assistants to improve the quality of the service.


    Theoretically Alexa has in her devices a hardware chip that activates the microphone only with the word "Alexa". For purchases you can do them only on Amazon but you can decide to disable them or put a pin before confirming the purchase.
