Although the bizhub C454e is a little older, I think you get more consistent color. That's got to be important to an artists workshop. =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Which sounds odd to me – colour fidelity seems like one of those things that ought to become better with each iteration of printers, no? (Not questioning you, it just seems backwards from my experience of inkjet/photo printers)
The C454e seems to lead the pack though judging from the comments here.

Get a quote on a Toshiba eStudio 2515AC/ 3015AC.
You will be very pleased the image quality, paper handling and ease of use.
I would wait for a C300i. They are premature and they still need work on the software side.
I would bet on a C458.
Hi all!
Thanks for all the input - we've settled on the C454e. Judging from the comments here, the MFP features and the price, it seemed the best combination – especially since we have an SLA and have the parts/service taken care of.
Here's to one less amateur bothering you all with error codes - cheers!
