Sens. Josh Hawley of Missouri (R) and Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut (R) are instructing the Justice Department to include Google’s search engine in its ongoing antitrust investigation of the tech giant Tuesday.
“How Google operates its search engine warrants close scrutiny,”the senators wrote in a letter to Attorney General William Barr. “At more than 90 percent of the global market share for search, the opportunities for anticompetitive conduct are substantial.”
Hawley and Blumenthal pointed to a recent $2.7 billion fine the European Union levied on Google for manipulating its search results
and a 2012 finding from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) leaked in 2015 that the federal agency was aware of the company’s deceptive conduct.
And some of you try to say that google isn't "biased or Corrupt".

Obama’s Homeland Security IG Indicted on Multiple Federal Charges
For a time it seemed like they were the untouchables just doing whatever they wanted and getting away with it. But those days are over.
Obama’s Homeland Security Inspector General was just indicted on 16 charges, including defrauding the U.S. government.
A former acting inspector general for the Department of Homeland Security and a subordinate have been charged with stealing government software and databases containing personal data on more than 250,000 government employees, the Justice Department said.
Charles K. Edwards, 59, of Sandy Spring, Md., and Murali Yamazula Venkata, 54, of Aldie, Va., were indicted in Washington on 16 counts, including conspiracy to commit theft of government property and to defraud the United States, theft of government property, wire fraud and aggravated identity theft, the Justice Department said. Venkata was also charged with destroying records.
Prosecutors alleged that from October 2014 to April 2017, Edwards, Venkata and others conspired to steal proprietary information from the DHS inspector general’s office so Edwards’s company, Delta Business Solutions, could sell an enhanced version to the Agriculture Department.
The indictment charges Charles K. Edwards, 59, of Sandy Spring, Maryland, and Murali Yamazula Venkata, 54, of Aldie, Virginia, with conspiracy to commit theft of government property and to defraud the United States, theft of government property, wire fraud, and aggravated identity theft. The indictment also charges Venkata with destruction of records.”
“The indictment further alleges that, in addition to stealing DHS-OIG’s software and the sensitive government databases, Venkata and others also assisted Edwards by reconfiguring his laptop so that he could properly upload the stolen software and databases, provided troubleshooting support whenever Edwards required it, and helped him build a testing server at his residence with the stolen software and databases,” the Department of Justice said in a press release announcing the indictments. “As further part of the alleged scheme, Edwards retained software developers in India for the purpose of developing his commercial alternative of DHS-OIG’s software.”
Shoplifting In California Sky Rockets After New Law Goes Into Effect
San Francisco has become the armpit of California and is a hotspot for crime, homelessness and feces.
Ever since the passing of a proposition 5 years ago essentially gave people permission to steal, San Francisco has just continued to get progressively worse. But this is what Democratic leadership will do to you.
In fact, San Francisco has turned into a place fit for organized crime. There are some crime rings that have turned shoplifting into a well-organized racket where willing thieves are out stealing items and reselling them on the black market to earn a quick buck.
Proposition 47 is a referendum that downgrades theft for merchandise and drugs with a value under $950 to a misdemeanor. In the eyes shoplifters, this has all but given them the go-ahead to take what they please under that amount. What makes the situation worse and so easy for people to steal things now is that police won’t even respond to these misdemeanor complaints because they need to focus on the more important crimes being committed in the city.
Over in the City by the Bay’s famous Tenderloin district, Cassie, a 21-year-old mother of two and a former heroin junkie, told Fox News that when times were tough, she too has stolen from stores.
“If my babies need diapers or formula, who is going to get that for me? No one. I have to do it,” she said. “They ain’t out here arresting people for (shoplifting) and everyone knows it.”
Proposition 47 is seen by critics as one of California’s biggest blunders. Supported by the state Democratic Party and championed by the American Civil Liberties Union, the referendum was passed by a wide margin in 2014. The idea behind it was to reduce certain non-violent felonies to misdemeanors in order to free up resources for cops and prosecutors to focus on violent offenders.
If the Democrats keep it up, it won’t be much longer before the whole state is a burning dumpster of trash and criminals.
Bernie Brilliantly Frames Debate Rules, Makes It Look Like 'Sleepy Joe' Needs a Place To Rest on Stage
The Democratic Party should create its own soap opera with its two remaining viable presidential candidates and call it “The Old and The Useless.”
The campaigns of former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders are discussing a new format for their upcoming debate.
And after much deliberation, and fighting from the Sanders campaign, it looks like Sleepy Joe is going to be allowed to sit and rest his weak legs, Politico reported.
The campaigns were in a private phone call with CNN, which is hosting the Phoenix debate on March 15, when Sanders’ campaign argued against the new format in which the candidates would be seated.
“Why does Joe Biden not want to stand toe-to-toe with Sen. Sanders on the debate stage March 15 and have an opportunity to defend his record and articulate his vision for the future?” Sanders’ senior adviser Jeff Weaver said, throwing some shade at Biden’s physical strength.
For the first time in this election season, the candidates would be seated behind desks and would field multiple questions from audience members.
What’s next? We bring in Craftmatic adjustable beds and TV trays and run episodes of “Murder She Wrote” while the candidates yell at kids to get off their lawns?
Poor Ol' QPQJoe he can't catch a break and he isn't giving himself one either!
