This is where the waters are muddied. Not saying it isn’t accurate per se, but they also throw in suicide by gun (which accounts for a lot), and mishaps/accidents, as being “gun violence”. Most people are led to believe that gun violence is just a homicidal act, and when shown the “statistics” (which includes suicide and accidents that almost always go unmentioned) they are further led to believe that there’s a big number of homicidal gun owners in America that pose a danger, which isn’t the case.
Also, it sucks that a couple dozen major cities in the U.S. make up a vast majority of those homicidal cases that factor into those studies. Places with stricter gun laws I might add.
New Census Data Suggests Previous Report Wrong, Republican States Gaining Seats In Congress | The Daily Wire
Political Power Set to Continue Shift to Southern States, Data Show - WSJ -WSJ article
New census data reveals the opposite of what’s been reported. A little over a week ago it was reported by The Center for Immigration Studies that Pro-hillary states we’re set to gain 20 congressional seats due to effects of immigration. The WSJ completely refuted this claim, and shows that Pro-Trump states are set to gain a total of Four seats while the Pro-hillary states are set to lose Three, with California losing One for the first time since 1850! While this won’t affect the 2020 election, it will affect things for the next Ten years.

Trump Winery fires 7 workers over lack of legal immigration status: report
Trump Winery in Charlottesville, Va., fired at least seven undocumented employees on Monday, according to The Washington Post, citing two of the workers.
The Trump Organization dismissed several undocumented greenskeepers and cooks at Trump properties 11 months ago, but the winery firings came after the completion of the winery’s annual grape harvest, the Post reported Tuesday.
Omar Miranda, a tractor driver from Honduras who was fired on Monday, speculated that the dismissals were purposely timed for immediately after the completion of the annual harvest so that the company could take advantage of their labor as long as possible. A second worker, who spoke on condition of anonymity, expressed the same belief to the Post. Both workers had been employed at the location for more than a decade, the newspaper reported.
“They didn’t make this decision in the summer because they needed us a lot then,” Miranda said, with the other employee adding, “I think they wanted to get their product out well, the grapes, to make sure that was taken care of, and once things were slow, they could fire us all."
The winery for years has been staffed with immigrants, predominantly from Mexico, who come legally on seasonal work visas. But the staff also included a smaller group of undocumented, year-round workers, who were fired on Monday, according to the Post.
As the world awaits developments in Tuesday’s attack on the United States embassy in Baghdad, it’s taken less than a day for the country’s latest crisis to reach back to Barack Obama.
While hundreds of Iranian-back militia members swarmed the sprawling embassy grounds, according to The Washington Post, several faces stood out as being particularly influential in the troubled country.
But one of the leaders, according to Breitbart, was more than just a familiar face in Baghdad power circles – he’d also reportedly been a guest of the Obama White House in 2011.
The man is Hadi al-Amiri, a former Iraqi transportation minister who now heads the Badr Organization, one of the most powerful of Iraq’s numerous armed militia groups, according to The Post.
And virtually nothing about his past indicates he’s anything but an enemy of the United States.
WELL, isn't that just peachy!? -=O=- entertains the fucker just 8yrs ago!

Trump's 'greatest honors' include a bill by Bernie Sanders and John McCain, signed into law by Obama
As 2019 drew to a close, many Americans looked back on the year and the past decade and ran through their accomplishments and things they hope to improve in the 2020s. President Trump apparently did at least the first half of that exercise, tweeting a few hours before midnight on New Year's Eve that one of his "greatest honors" was "to have gotten CHOICE approved for our great Veterans. Others have tried for decades, and failed!" Maybe others failed, but former President Barack Obama did not — he signed the Veterans Choice Act into law in 2014.
What's more, the law was written by the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), a frequent Trump critic, and current 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
Trump has been making this same false claim for months. In its fact-check from May, The Associated Press notes that "Trump did expand eligibility for the program," allowing veterans to opt for a private doctor if the VA wait was more than 20 days (28 days for specialists), not 30 days as under the Sanders-McCain bill, or they had to drive more than 30 minutes to a VA facility, not 40 miles. And VA Secretary Robert Wilkie — who also falsely claimed credit for changes implemented under Obama, AP notes — acknowledged that full implementation of the expanded Choice program won't happen for "years." Maybe by that point, the next president can take an undeserved victory lap.

Trump signed a law that reformed and consolidated Veterans Choice and other existing programs into a single Veterans Community Care Program.
The Government Accountability Office reported in June 2018 that veterans still had to wait 51 days on average to receive care through Obama's Choice Program.
The law also revamped and expanded the eligibility requirements for private care based on a combination of factors that include wait times, distance to a department hospital, quality of care or if “a veteran and the veteran’s referring clinician agree that furnishing care or services in the community would be in the best medical interest of the veteran,” according to congressional summary of the law.
While Obama may have passed "Veterans choice" in 2014, it still sucked and needed to be overhauled for the better. So Trump isn't in the wrong for claiming victory on this. He made it even better for veterans in America.
TRUMP2020
All that is great, but he would have people believe he created the whole system. All he had to say is that it has been altered to make it more efficient. But no, he has to pretend it was all his doing. And people defend this constant need for lying and taking credit for others accomplishments.
Credit is due for making this system more user friendly, sure.
