China and India have been hording Silver for years.

United States Mint Announces 'Global Silver Shortage,' Shuts Down Orders for Silver Coins

Citing what it called a “global silver shortage,” the U.S. Mint is not going to take orders next month for certain silver coins.
“The global silver shortage has driven demand for many of our bullion and numismatic products to record heights. This level of demand is felt most acutely by the Mint during the initial product release of numismatic items,” the Mint said on its Facebook page.
Demand has led to complications ordering the coins online, the Mint said.

“Most recently in the pre-order window for 2021 Morgan Dollar with Carson City privy mark (21XC) and New Orleans privy mark (21XD), the extraordinary volume of web traffic caused significant numbers of Mint customers to experience website anomalies that resulted in their inability to complete transactions,” the release said.
“In the interest of properly rectifying the situation, the Mint is postponing the pre-order windows for the remaining 2021 Morgan and Peace silver dollars that were originally scheduled for June 1 (Morgan Dollars struck at Denver (21XG) and San Francisco (21XF)) and June 7 (Morgan Dollar struck at Philadelphia (21XE) and the Peace Dollar (21XH)),” the release said.

The Mint said that canceling those June dates will give it “the time necessary to obtain web traffic management tools to enhance the user experience.”
The Mint cautioned that buyers face stiff competition.

“As the demand for silver remains greater than the supply, the reality is such that not everyone will be able to purchase a coin,” the release said.
The Mint said new dates will be announced “as soon as possible.”
The Mint’s action caused a buzz on Twitter.
The website Coin Week noted that on the May 24 sale, the Mint’s website “slowed to a crawl.”
It further noted that within 25 minutes of the pre-order window opening the 175,000 coins available were sold out.

Some say the demand for silver will keep rising.
“The outlook for demand growth for silver over the next few years looks very positive, especially across a wide range of industrial applications, including solar, 5G and automotive,” said Philip Klapwijk, managing director of Precious Metals Insights Ltd, according to Bloomberg.
“That, coupled with ongoing high levels of investment is likely to create the need for more dedicated storage space for silver in bullion and also intermediate forms,” he said.

Harry Reid sold to China a lot of our land that held Silver and other valuable minerals, now China and India hold most of the worlds silver.

I thought dems WANTED fair elections? Or is it they don't want that but just mouth the words?

Democrats Storm Off of House Floor in Last-Ditch Effort to Block Election Integrity Bill

Democrats won a round Sunday night in their efforts to block a Texas election reform law.
However, after a stunt in which Democrats left the state House chamber to short-circuit the bill’s expected passage, Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, an outspoken conservative, called for a special session during which the legislation could be considered.
“I declared Election Integrity and Bail Reform to be must-pass emergency items for this legislative session. It is deeply disappointing and concerning for Texans that neither will reach my desk,” Abbott said in a statement posted on his website.
“Ensuring the integrity of our elections and reforming a broken bail system remain emergencies in Texas. They will be added to the special session agenda. Legislators will be expected to have worked out the details when they arrive at the Capitol for the special session,” Abbott said.
Although the Texas state Senate had approved the bill Saturday, the House was deliberating Sunday as the legislative clock ran down. The legislative session in Texas — an eventful one by any measure — ended at midnight.
Democrats walked out at about 10:45 p.m. Central Time, meaning the House did not have the 100 members necessary for a quorum. It then had to adjourn, according to CNN.

Republican House Speaker Dade Phelan said the decision by Democrats to abruptly leave the chamber killed several bills that Democrats had joined Republicans in supporting.
“Texans shouldn’t have to pay the consequences of these members’ actions — or in this case, inaction,” he said, adding that majority of Texans support “making our elections stronger and more secure,” according to The Washington Post.
According to The New York Times, state Rep. Chris Turner, the House Democratic Caucus chairman, texted fellow Democrats at 10:35 p.m., telling them, “Take your key and leave the chamber discretely. Do not go to the gallery. Leave the building.”

The “key” referred to the mechanism Texas lawmakers use to lock their votes in after they’re cast.
In a statement early Monday, Turner told The Times the tactic was necessary.

“It became obvious Republicans were going to cut off debate to ram through their vote suppression legislation,” he said. “At that point, we had no choice but to take extraordinary measures to protect our constituents and their right to vote.”

The bill would give new access rights to partisan poll watchers and make it easier to overturn election results if they are marred by fraudulent voting.

That last statement is the key to them walking out : "and make it easier to overturn election results if they are marred by fraudulent voting."

Election officials could face charges for sending mail voting applications to anyone who did not ask for one. Drive-thru voting and 24-hour voting centers would both be eliminated.

Republicans said the bill was not an attempt to revisit the 2020 election.
“This isn’t about who won or who lost, it’s really to make the process better,” State Sen. Bryan Hughes has said, according to The Times. “We want to make the elections more accessible and more secure, make them smoother.”

State Rep. Briscoe Cain, who sponsored the bill in the House, said late Sunday, according to The Times, that the goal was to be sure that “conduct of elections be uniform and consistent throughout the state, to reduce the likelihood of fraud and the conduct of elections, to protect the secrecy the ballot, promote voter access and ensure that all legally cast ballots are counted.”
The Texas proposal was attacked by President Joe Biden as “an assault on democracy.” He said the provisions in the bill were “disproportionately targeting Black and Brown Americans.”

Donna Brazile Out at Fox News Two Years After Joining as a Political Contributor

Former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile has parted ways with Fox News.
Brazile, who joined Fox as a contributor in 2019, is now with ABC News, according to Mediaite.
“My contract expired in March and they extended it for a few more years,” Brazile said.

“Ultimately, I decided to return back to ABC. Great experience for me,” she said.
Brazile said she had left Fox News of her own accord, according to The New York Times.
“Fox never censored my views in any way, Everyone treated me courteously as a colleague,” Brazile wrote in an email, according to The Times.

Brazlie’s email said one part of her work is done, thanks to the change of leadership in the White House, according to The Times.
“I believe it’s important for all media to expose their audiences to both progressive and conservative viewpoints,” she wrote. “With the election and President Biden’s first 100 days behind us, I’ve accomplished what I wanted at Fox News.”Brazile but made her ABC debut as a contributor on the May 23 edition of “This Week.”

Brazile had been a commentator at CNN, but ran afoul of the network in 2016 after it was learned that she shared debate questions with the campaign of then-Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, according to The Hill.
Brazile is only one in recent transition at Fox.

Juan Williams, who has been a host on “The Five” recently announced he would be leaving the program and transitioning to a senior political analyst.
“Conservatives have a long-held suspicion of the mainstream media being in the tank for Democrats and for the left,” said Ryan Williams, a Republican strategist, according to The Times.

“Fox News for many years was viewed as the only outlet that wasn’t shilling for the other side. Liberals may doubt the power of Fox News, but it still draws a considerable audience for a reason,” he said.
Fox is not the only network undergoing changes.
CNN recently dropped commentator and former Republican Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania.

Why would either side want it to be easier to overturn election results?
