typically after a president is no longer in office he isn't really heard from much again.

Obama has been the only out spoken one in my memory... besides Trump. Obama has been working somewhat in the wings coaching Biden along. Mainly because Biden can't handle the job on his own.

remember obama said joe could F things up.

Re: Let the truth be known

AOC is showing her stupidity once again.

AOC Says We Can Solve Violent Crime if We Just 'Stop Building' Jails

If you don’t build it, they’ll still come.
This fact about jails is apparently lost on Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who gave a speech Thursday in which she posited the answer to crime was to “stop building” jails. Not only did she refuse to backtrack from this absurdity, she quote-tweeted the video of her saying it.
According to Fox News, AOC and other fellow New York Democrats — notably Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Rep. Jamaal Bowman — called upon Congress to appropriate $400,000 for a program called “Stand Up To Violence.”

This isn’t unusually stupid, if probably misguided; according to WCBS-TV, the program is run out of the Bronx’s Jacobi Medical Center and uses a combination of community outreach and medical intervention to try to curb gun violence. The idea is that addressing public health factors is the way to curb New York City’s skyrocketing violent crime rate, not imprisonment. It just so happens the hospital happens to be in AOC’s district, which I’m sure has nothing to do with this.
That’s all great, but it’s worth noting the program existed as the violent crime rate skyrocketed, which makes the logic a bit of a hard sell. The pitch didn’t get much better with AOC’s argument that not only was it “not acceptable” to use jails and prisons as “garbage bins,” but maybe we ought to quit building them in the first place.

“If we want to reduce violent crime, if we want to reduce the number of people in our jails, the answer is to stop building more of them,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
“The answer is to make sure that we actually build more hospitals, we pay organizers, we get people mental health care and overall health care, employment, etc. It’s to support communities, not throw them away.”
Well, there’s a clip I’d want to hide. Instead, here was Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter amplifying those remarks, just in case you missed them.

    @AOC

Right here in the Bronx, our community developed a successful approach to reducing violence. It starts at the hospital after an incident. We bring in psych Drs & folks who turned their *own* lives around to work w/ youth. It’s reduced reoccurrence of violence by more than 50%.

Re: Let the truth be known

I guess some have more rights to the "human right" Twitless talks about.

Twitter bashed for saying access to its platform is a 'human right' while accused of silencing conservatives

Twitter argued that a free and open internet is "an essential human right in modern society," which many found to be comically hypocritical since the big tech platform is often accused of censoring conservative voices.
The situation stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Twitter and the Nigerian government. Twitter deleted a stern and threatening tweet posted by Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, which condemned attacks on public infrastructure in the country's southeast region, including arson attacks on government offices and police stations.
"Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War," Buhari wrote on Tuesday. "Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand."
Buhari referenced the "brutal two-year Nigeria-Biafra war, which killed an estimated one to three million people, mostly from the Igbo tribe in the eastern part of the country between 1967-1970," according to CNN.
Twitter removed the tweet written by the Nigerian president, claiming it had violated the platform's policy on abusive behavior.

In retaliation, the Nigerian government banned Twitter from the African nation.
"The Federal Government has suspended, indefinitely, the operations of the microblogging and social networking service, Twitter, in Nigeria," the country's Federal Ministry of Information and Culture tweeted Friday night.

Twitter's Public Policy division responded on Saturday morning by saying, "We are deeply concerned by the blocking of Twitter in Nigeria. Access to the free and #OpenInternet is an essential human right in modern society. We will work to restore access for all those in Nigeria who rely on Twitter to communicate and connect with the world. #KeepitOn."
Twitter's declaration that access to its platform is a "human right" ignited a firestorm of criticism and mockery of the social media network since it has a reputation for silencing conservative voices, including former President Donald Trump.

Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz: "Curious. In Twitter's own words, they are willfully denying Donald Trump 'an essential human right in modern society.'"
Former Trump advisor Jenna Ellis: "Are you also deeply concerned about the blocking of Twitter users in America? Asking for a friend."

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: "We are deeply concerned by the blocking of @realdonaldtrump by Twitter. Access to the free and #OpenInternet is an essential human right in modern society. Unblock President Trump and stop with the hypocritical virtue signaling."
Former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell: "For years we've pointed out your failure to let the Iranian people on twitter. Why ignore Iran but take a stand on Nigeria?"
Florida congressional candidate Lavern Spicer: "I am deeply concerned by the suspending of President Donald Trump on Twitter. Access to the free and #OpenInternet is an essential human right in modern society, even if you disagree with their politics."

BlazeTV host Steve Deace: "This shamelessly comes from an entity that believes in non-disclosed and unaccountable systems to deny people access to its own platform. Self-awareness is dead."
"The News and Why It Matters" host Sara Gonzales: "The company blocking a former president's content from their site believe 'access to the internet' is an 'essential human right.' You couldn't make it up if you tried."
"Pseudo-Intellectual" host Lauren Chen: "Let me get this straight... Nigerian government blocking citizens from using twitter: Violation of human rights Twitter blocking people they don't like from using Twitter: Perfectly fine and actually it's just good sense Hm."
Conservative commentator Dinesh D'Souza: "Not sure I understand this. If Twitter can block Nigerians and their elected officials for violating its standards and policies, why can't Nigeria and its elected officials block Twitter for violating their standards and policies?"
Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon: "Say the wrong thing and they'll permanently take away your 'essential human right.'"

Author Jack Posobiec: "I can't wait to remind Twitter that their public policy position is platform access is a human right and those blocked from use must have their access restored Again and again and again."
Outkick founder Clay Travis: "Didn't Nigeria just do the exact same thing to you that you did to President Trump?"
Newsmax host Steve Cortes: "Wait, Twitter believes platform access "is an essential human right in modern society." Good. I agree. Stop suspending my account. Restore Trump. Right now!"
Journalist Sharyl Attkisson: "I guess now you know what it feels like."
Actor James Woods: "If irony were a food, Twitter could cure hunger overnight."
Director Robby Starbuck: "Oh Twitter believes access to a free and open internet is an essential right? I know a guy named Donald J. Trump and 75+ million Americans who may want to dispute your commitment to that."

Actor Nick Searcy: "You hypocrites censor people who disagree with you. Shut up."
One Twitter user joked: "Just build your own Nigeria then."

China Reports First Case Of H10N3 Bird Flu Infecting A Human

China Reports First Case Of H10N3 Bird Flu Infecting A Human

Looks like someone gave a man in China the bird. The bird flu, that is. And the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CCDC) is making sure that the someone was a bird and not a human.
Normally, the H10N3 avian influenza virus is for the birds, so to speak, and not for humans. In fact, before April, this strain of flu virus had never been known to jump to human. However, all that changed on Tuesday when China's National Health Commission (NHC) announced that a 41-year-old man, from Zhenjiang in the Jiangsu Province of China, had indeed been infected with the H10N3 avian influenza virus.
During the last week of April, the man had developed a fever, but not just a need cowbell-type of fever. This fever got worse and worse until he was admitted to a local hospital on April 28. Eventually, doctors took samples of respiratory fluid from the man and sent them off to the CCDC, who on May 28 conducted genetic analyses on the specimens. What did they find? The H10N3 bird flu virus. Fortunately, the man eventually got better to the point of being ready for discharge from the hospital.
Meanwhile, the May 28 finding has prompted the CCDC to go off on a not-just-wild goose chase. It was a chicken chase. And a poultry in general chase. And a human chase. They wanted to figure out where and how the man may have been infected with the H10N3 avian influenza virus. More importantly, the CCDC wanted to make sure that the man did not pick up the virus from or spread the virus to another human being.

Former ICE Director Calls Out The Real Reason Biden is Flooding America With Illegal Immigrants

Former Acting ICE Director Tom Homan appeared on Fox News to talk about the immigration policies of the Biden administration.
“Be clear what’s happening here, President Biden has declared the entire country a sanctuary jurisdiction, which means more tragedies gonna come,” Homan said. “Mark my word, people will die, people will be raped, people will be victimized by criminals that shouldn’t even be here. This is, it’s coming. And you know, we’ve been talking about this for two years. And it’s already started Steve … I want to mention one more thing. There’s a national sex offender operation planned last week, last week called Operation Talon. They were targeting the arrest of sexual convicted sexual offenders, including child molesters, they canceled the operation on the heels of this memorandum. So it’s already started, we have sexual predators who are here illegally walking the streets, in our communities, because of the the actions of this administration.”

It's common sense, right? The illegal immigrants, if they vote, are going to vote for the party that let them into the country.
