I'd like to see the NYT, CNN, ABC, etc. step up and start running the numbers, and provide equal live "In memory of" segments for those who haven't passed from Covid.
Why are these people held to such a high degree over the rest of those who die?

As Minneapolis burned late on Wednesday over the death of George Floyd, Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN), who represents the district, fired off a series of tweets on the matter after previously condemning law enforcement for trying to disperse rioters, saying, “Our anger is just. Our anger is warranted.”
On Tuesday, rioters damaged windows, a police car, and sprayed graffiti at a police precinct and were met with police in riot gear who eventually fired tear gas at the protesters, according to MPR News. These same rioters also burned down an Autozone across from the police department, Looted a Nearby Target store (and robbed customers/ workers), smashed windows and robbed already struggling small businesses, and threw bricks at police officers.

Omar responded to the event by writing on Twitter: “Shooting rubber bullets and tear gas at unarmed protesters when there are children present should never be tolerated. Ever. What is happening tonight in our city is shameful. Police need to exercise restraint, (WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS TERRORIST???) and our community needs space to heal.”


Can't believe people like this were actually voted into a position like hers.
I remember bin laden saying back in the late 90's or early 2000's that America would be destroyed from within when Al Qaeda infiltrates all aspects of American life, including "holding office and other positions of power".

US, Canada, UK, And Australia Release Joint Reprimand Of China Over Hong Kong Law | The Daily Wire

In an unprecedented move, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia have joined in a formal reprimand of China over its decision to impose a draconian national security law on Hong Kong, severely curtailing Hong Kong residents’ rights and freedoms.

The letter, issued Thursday, calls China’s actions a threat to freedom and democracy and warns that the Asian powerhouse may now be in violation of the 1984 agreement between China and the United Kingdom, transferring power over Hong Kong.

“Hong Kong has flourished as a bastion of freedom,” the four nations wrote, according to Reuters. The letter expresses the international coalition’s “deep concern regarding Beijing’s decision to impose a national security law in Hong Kong.”

The new legislation, they say, will “curtail the Hong Kong people’s liberties, and in doing so, dramatically erode Hong Kong’s autonomy and the system that made it so prosperous.”

“China’s decision to impose the new national security law on Hong Kong lies in direct conflict with its international obligations under the principles of the legally-binding, UN-registered Sino-British Joint Declaration,” the group notes, adding that they are “also extremely concerned that this action will exacerbate the existing deep divisions in Hong Kong society.”
