Trump fans who took hydroxychloroquine could be denied health insurance if SCOTUS kills Obamacare
One of the bizarre reactions to the COVID-19 pandemic was President Donald Trump continually pushing supporters to take Hydroxychloroquine Sulfate.
While there never evidence the drug could successfully treat coronavirus, Trump began pushing it regardless — even after his own agencies issued warnings the drug could harm patients.
The people who took the drug, including the president himself, could be denied health insurance.
Larry Levitt, the executive vice president for health policy at the Kaiser Family Foundation, noted that patients who had taken Hydroxychloroquine Sulfate used to receive automatic "medication denials" before Democrats passed the Affordable Care Act during the Obama administration.
This means, if Trump's Department of Justice is successful in overturning the Affordable Care Act, Republicans who listened to Trump may have a hard time buying insurance in the individual market.
Biden Says Arabic Word Frequently Used by Muslims During Debate
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden used the Arabic word “inshallah” during a discussion on President Donald Trump’s tax returns at the first presidential debate Tuesday night.
Moderator Chris Wallace had asked Trump about a recent article from The New York Times that said the Republican president paid only $750 in federal income taxes per year in 2016 and 2017.
“I’ve paid millions of dollars, and you’ll get to see it,” Trump replied.
“When?” Biden asked. “Inshallah?”
Biden’s campaign confirmed to NPR that the former vice president had used the Arabic word that means “Allah willing” or “if Allah wills it.”
He must have learned that word while in the Obama Admin.

The word is often used sarcastically by Muslims to express doubt that someone will do something that they claim they plan to do.
Some American Muslims and others praised Biden on social media for his inclusivity.
A BuzzFeed News immigration reporter called it “a historic moment in America.”
Other people were not impressed.
One commentator even called Biden’s use of the word “colonial and derogatory.”

@TamerELG
Biden’s use of inshallah was kinda colonial and derogatory if you ask me.
Fadi Helani, a linguistics professor at Montclair State University, told The Washington Post that the phrase seemed too sophisticated for someone who doesn’t speak the language to use in a presidential debate.
“Inshallah” is used to expressed hope for the desired outcome in formal Arabic, including in media interviews and news conferences, according to Helani.
When it is used in informal conversation, the word can be used sarcastically “to mean that the hope or statement is too good to be true,” The Post reported.
“If somebody says talks about passing a test, and you say, ‘inshallah,’ that means you’re hoping they pass,” Helani said.
“But if somebody says that, and you know they’re a lazy student, ‘inshallah’ means you don’t believe them at all.”
Helani said that Biden’s use of the word was sarcastically “casting doubt” on Trump’s claim he would release the tax returns.
Why the HELL would Biden use that term correctly? Is he in bed with Muslim's? Has he converted to Islam like a lot of the Obama Admin had? Is this what we want in a POTUS? He's in bed with Russian/Ukraine/China.. now Iran also? Make one go Hmmmmm
Biden’s False Claim on Trump’s Response to Coronavirus
Former Vice President Joe Biden was wrong when he said that the Trump administration made no effort to get U.S. medical experts into China as the novel coronavirus epidemic spread there early this year.
“[W]hen we were talking … early on in this crisis, we said — I said, among others, that, you know, you should get into China, get our experts there, we have the best in the world, get them in so we know what’s actually happening,” Biden, the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, said at a CNN virtual town hall on March 27. “There was no effort to do that.”
Except that isn’t the case.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention tried to get into China just one week after China reported the outbreak to the World Health Organization on Dec. 31, 2019.
“On January 6, we offered to send a CDC team to China that could assist with these public health efforts,” Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said at a Jan. 28 press conference. “I reiterated that offer when I spoke to China’s Minister of Health on Monday, and it was reiterated again via the World Health Organization today. We are urging China: More cooperation and transparency are the most important steps you can take toward a more effective response.”
More than a week later, Azar said again at a Feb. 7 press conference that “our longstanding offer to send world-class experts to China to assist remains on the table.”
At the time, the New York Times reported, “Normally, teams from the agency’s Epidemic Intelligence Service can be in the air within 24 hours.”
The Biden campaign did not respond to our requests for comment.
A team of public health experts from the WHO was allowed by Chinese authorities to visit Wuhan, where the outbreak began, later in February, according to the South China Morning Post. The team included specialists from the United States as well as Germany, Russia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Nigeria.
