Yes Phil, but if Lincoln was up for election in the current Republican party he would not get any votes. He actually read and corresponded with Karl Marx. How do ya like that?
Can you believe it? Lol. Not your precious Lincoln.

    lincoln is dead.

he also corresponded with many folks that weren't in line with his thinking.... how better to know you enemy than to talk with him?

presidents often confer with Xi -- kim.. and vlad so what?

Karl Marx and Abraham Lincoln exchanged letters at the end of the Civil War, with Marx writing on behalf of the International Working Men's Association. Although they were divided by far more than the Atlantic Ocean, they agreed on the urgency of suppressing slavery and the cause of "free labor."

Who is biden really working for American citizens or illegal criminals? Ti mo it appears to be the latter!

Biden Admin Considers Overturning Trump Order That Makes it Easier to Send Immigrants Back to Mexico

The White House is considering an abrupt end of a policy enacted by former President Donald Trump that allows the U.S. Border Patrol a quick way to return immigrant families to Mexico.
A new Axios report on Sunday night revealed that Title 42, a Trump policy implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic, could end as soon as July 31.
The policy has allowed many illegal immigrants from Mexico to be quickly turned away from staying in the United States.
According to the report, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has “opposed using the public health order to expel migrants.” It added that a White House official said “a public health decision that will be made ultimately on those grounds.”
The Washington Post reported earlier in June, “U.S. Customs and Border Protection apprehension numbers for May released recently show the share of families — about 20 percent — being expelled under Title 42 continued to decline.”

Despite Title 42’s use, the report said in May “that eight out of 10 families that Border Patrol encountered were released into the country and allowed to pursue immigration cases.”
Iowa Republican Rep. Ashley Hinson tweeted, “Border Patrol agents told me we need to keep Title 42 in place as they attempt to manage the illegal immigration surge.”

    Ashley Hinson

    @RepAshleyHinson

Border Patrol agents told me we need to keep Title 42 in place as they attempt to manage the illegal immigration surge. Maybe if the @VP had been to the border & heard from those on the ground, the Admin wouldn’t be reversing policies law enforcement use to keep us safe. #IA01

Title 42 has continued to be used by CBP to limit the number of illegal immigrants from Mexico who stay in the United States. More than 100,000 people were expelled in May, according to the CBP.

On May 11, South Dakota Republican Gov. Kristi Noem, along with 19 other GOP governors, sent a letter to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris urging them to take immediate action on the immigration crisis along the nation’s southern border.
“The crisis is too big to ignore and is now spilling over the border states into all of our states,” Noem and the other governors wrote in the letter.

“The cause of the border crisis is entirely due to reckless federal policy reversals executed within your first 100 days in office.
“The rhetoric of the Biden Administration and the rollback of critical agreements with our allies have led to the inhumane treatment of tens of thousands of children and undermined a fragile immigration system.”
Noem announced in April that South Dakota “won’t be taking any illegal immigrants that the Biden administration wants to relocate.”
The letter to Biden and Harris emphasized the governor’s perspective, noting, “We have neither the resources nor the obligation to solve the federal government’s problem and foot the bill for the consequences of this Administration’s misguided actions.”

Trump will visit the border crisis way before either one of our failed leaders will.

Pennsylvania Senate Leader Says 2020 Election Audit Is a 'Very Real Possibility'

A key Pennsylvania state Senate Republican this week ever so gingerly dipped his toe into the waters of a possible election recount.
Senate State Government Committee Chairman Dave Argall met Wednesday with activists seeking a full audit of the November election.
Pennsylvania was among the states targeted by former President Donald Trump, who alleged that there were irregularities in the state. Trump’s lawyers were never able to provide sufficient proof to block the results, which gave the state’s electoral votes to President Joe Biden.
Argall’s committee oversees elections and has subpoena power.
He called an audit a “very real possibility” Thursday, according to the Pennsylvania Capital-Star.

“There are a lot of things under consideration right now, and I told them to check back in a week or two and we hope to have some more detail,” Argall said he told the activists.
The Pennsylvania Department of State gave itself a passing mark on the election, ruling that after its review there was “strong evidence” that the vote was correct.
Argall said he does not see the “damage in doing it one more time to try to answer the concerns that people have,” according to The Philidelphia Inquirer.
Argall said he not seeking to change White House residents at this late date.
“The results are the results,” Argall said Friday.
“The Electoral College has spoken, you know the president has been sworn in. I understand that’s a reality,” he said.
But Argall indicated that he remained trouble by how the 2020 process unfolded, saying that the state’s executive and judicial branches “completely ignored” the intent of lawmakers when a 2019 election law was passed.
“Do I have 100% confidence … that everything was perfect? No, I’d really like us to take a detailed review of that,” Argall said.
“That’s why we’re looking at changing pieces of the election legislation, and it’s also why I think it wouldn’t hurt at all to go back, do that audit, and say, ‘How exactly did that work out?’”

Argall also said that restoring confidence in the process might not be a bad idea.
“I don’t know why people are so mistrusting of the results. I just know that they are,” he said.
Arizona is currently undergoing an audit of the results from Maricopa County Three Pennsylvania legislators have visited Arizona to see how that state went about its audit.
