When you block traffic on a major thoroughfare you need to expect someone to try to run through the blockage. If you are stupid enough to stay in front of said vehicle you deserve whatever happens to you. There was an incident in San Luis Obispo where a leftist group was blocking southbound US 101 near the base of Cuesta grade. Had there been a runaway truck coming off that grade, dozens of those protestors would have been killed. Runaway trucks coming off the hill usually are not able to slow down enough to stop until half way through San Luis Obispo.

We have a law in NC, IF people are blocking the road, i.e. a protest, the driver CANNOT be held responsible IF he strikes people IN the roadway.

I'm amused by the liberals on this site that talk about violence coming from Trump supporters. Do they think that we've forgotten the terror that democrats put ths country thru in 2020? I've never owned a gun in my life but they made me consider getting one. I still can't believe that they were allowed to get away with it.
