    Re: Thank you and Goodbye

Good Luck in your future endeavors!
Like others have mentioned, there are a few of us here that have made your move also, but we continue to support CTN and the users.

What ever road you travel, may the pavement be smooth and free of potholes, and a dry surface to keep you shiny side up and your greasy side down and out of the ditches!

    Good Luck Sir.

Good luck Sir. Keep calm and drive Mazda
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.

Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

I’ve been fixing photocopiers for the last 33 years, most of them with the one company. But as Dylan said “times they are a changing” and there’s not much call for an old fashioned hardware tech like me any longer. Since the company has changed brands and is heading further down the IT path to a paperless future it’s time for me to wander off into the sunset.
I’d like to thank my fellow technicians around the world for their company and their help in solving the weird and wonderful problems that copiers can throw at you and hope I aided someone by chipping in my 2 bobs worth when they were asking for help with problem solving.
I would also like to thank you all with keeping me entertained with your bizarre sense of humor and weird way at looking at life.
January the 1st will be a start of a new lifestyle as I will be able to spend more time looking after my long suffering wife, Julie and be able to take a short fat dog for more walks then he really wants to do.
    Cheers and goodbye, Phil.

Congratulations on crossing the finishing line mostly unscathed. I think the thing I would enjoy most is getting a few more hours sleep. And perhaps get back to my woodworking.

    Stay in touch. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yep, I'll agree with that, now onto my second Mazda 6 and Julie still drives a 30 year old Mazda MX6

Not to forget polishing selenium/arsenic drums without gloves either. Not dangerous at all, after all, only one of the kids has got two heads...............!

All the best Sir and a happy retirement time to you!

I think it's time to take care more of yourself and the love ones now, daily gymnastics very important.

I met three people in the last few years who recently retired from this job and all of them said no regret, very happy with the move and less stress.
