Gavin Newsom's Office Warns Diners To Wear Masks 'In Between Bites'


One of the latest mask mania mandates from the office of Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom is proving a hard pill for many to swallow.
Last week, Newsom’s office chided anyone eating in public to wear a mask in between bites.
“Going out to eat with members of your household this weekend?” Newsom’s office tweeted Friday. “Don’t forget to keep your mask on in between bites. Do your part to keep those around you healthy.”
The image that accompanied the text included the words: “Minimize the number of times you take your mask off.”

“Did you get all that? Spot the contradiction?” Nick Kangadis wrote for the Media Research Center.
“In one sentence, Newsom’s office want[s] you to be masked ‘in between bites’ of your food should you go out to dinner with your family. Then in the graphic, just two sentences later, they tell people to ‘Minimize the number of times you take your mask off,'” he wrote.

“Now, I’m no mathematician, but wouldn’t you be taking off your mask a ton if you had to put it back on ‘in between bites?’
“Of course these edicts don’t make sense, but then again, it is California. Just saying.”

Durland Fish, PhD, professor emeritus of epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health, has said that putting a mask on and taking it off while eating could make things worse.
He told NBC’s “Today” that the risk of spreading the virus from the mask to the hands touching the mask increases with every touch.

Jade Flinn, the nurse educator for the Biocontainment Unit at Johns Hopkins Medicine, offered a solution that seems like it could be just as much work as putting a mask on and taking it off between bites.
“Store [your mask] in a clean receptacle,” Flinn said.
“You want to keep it in a well-ventilated bag, usually a paper bag, so there’s not really a chance that it would grow any mold or fungus.”

Newsom needs to put the joint down and clear his head. More crap from Commiefornia!

If I ever get a chance to go out somewhere to eat, I will keep my cloth mask on while I eat. slid down over my chin. It makes an excellent beard bib.

CDC acknowledges COVID-19 is airborne, can travel beyond six feet

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention acknowledged Monday that coronavirus can spread through particles in the air and sometimes travel beyond distances of six feet — after walking back similar guidance last month.

The update on the agency’s site said that “COVID-19 can sometimes be spread by airborne transmission” due to small droplets that linger in the air for anywhere from minutes to hours.

“There is evidence that under certain conditions, people with COVID-19 seem to have infected others who were more than six feet away,” the agency said.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention drafted a sweeping order last month requiring all passengers and employees to wear masks on all forms of public and commercial transportation in the United States, but it was blocked by the White House, according to two federal health officials.


The order would have been the toughest federal mandate to date aimed at curbing the spread of the coronavirus, which continues to infect more than 40,000 Americans a day. The officials said that it was drafted under the agency’s “quarantine powers” and that it had the support of the secretary of health and human services, Alex M. Azar II, but the White House Coronavirus Task Force, led by Vice President Mike Pence, declined to even discuss it.

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced Sunday that it no longer recommends economic lockdowns to fight the novel coronavirus, effectively reversing its position.
The WHO is warning countries facing the feared second wave to “stop using lockdowns as your primary control method,” per News.co.au.
They now say that complete economic lockdowns have dire economic consequences and could be responsible for increasing poverty.
“Look what’s happened to smallholder farmers all over the world. Look what’s happening to poverty levels. It seems that we may well have a doubling of world poverty by next year. We may well have at least a doubling of child malnutrition.”
“And so, we really do appeal to all world leaders: stop using lockdown as your primary control method. Develop better systems for doing it.

Latest CDC Study Obliterates Liberal COVID Narrative

A Centers for Disease Control report released in September shows that masks and face coverings are not effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19, even for those people who consistently wear them.
A study conducted in the United States in July found that when they compared 154 “case-patients,” who tested positive for COVID-19, to a control group of 160 participants from the same health care facility who were symptomatic but tested negative, over 70 percent of the case-patients were contaminated with the virus and fell ill despite “always” wearing a mask.
“In the 14 days before illness onset, 71% of case-patients and 74% of control participants reported always using cloth face coverings or other mask types when in public,” the report stated.


In addition, over 14 percent of the case-patients said they “often” wore a face covering and were still infected with the virus. The study also demonstrates that under 4 percent of the case-patients became sick with the virus even though they “never” wore a mask or face covering.
Despite over 70 percent of the case-patient participants’ efforts to follow CDC recommendations by committing to always wearing face coverings at “gatherings with ≤10 or >10 persons in a home; shopping; dining at a restaurant; going to an office setting, salon, gym, bar/coffee shop, or church/religious gathering; or using public transportation,” they still contracted the virus.

While the study notes that some of these people may have contracted the virus from the few moments that they removed their mask to eat or drink at “places that offer on-site eating or drinking,” the CDC concedes that there is no successful way to evaluate if that was the exact moment someone became exposed and contracted the virus.
“Characterization of community exposures can be difficult to assess when widespread transmission is occurring, especially from asymptomatic persons within inherently interconnected communities,” the report states.
In fact, the report suggests that “direction, ventilation, and intensity of airflow might affect virus transmission, even if social distancing measures and mask use are implemented according to current guidance.”
Despite this new scientific information, the CDC, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci, and many political authorities are still encouraging people to wear masks. Many states and cities have even mandated masks, citing them as one of the main tools to “slow the spread” of coronavirus and keep case numbers in their area down.

So like I've been saying since the start of this shit " MASKS DON'T WORK " and now the CDC is having to admit such.
