Dr. Deborah Birx, the coordinator of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, warned Sunday that Americans who traveled for the Thanksgiving holiday and attended large gatherings should assume they were infected with COVID-19 and get tested within the next few days.

"We know people may have made mistakes over the Thanksgiving time period," Birx said in an interview with "Face the Nation.
" "If you're young and you gathered, you need to be tested about five to 10 days later. But you need to assume that you're infected and not go near your grandparents and aunts and others without a mask."

Birx also said it's crucial to avoid others with comorbidities.

In medicine, comorbidity is the presence of one or more additional conditions often co-occurring with a primary condition. Comorbidity describes the effect of all other conditions an individual patient might have other than the primary condition of interest, and can be physiological or psychological.

President Trump's chief COVID-19 advisor, Dr Scott Atlas has resigned,

Dr. Scott Atlas, a highly controversial member of the White House's coronavirus task force, has resigned from his post in the Trump administration, according to a person who works with the task force.

A source familiar with what happened told CNN that Atlas turned in his resignation letter to President Donald Trump on Monday. As a special government employee, Atlas had a 130-day window in which he could serve and that window was technically going to close this week.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Another source close to the task force told CNN on Monday that Atlas' departure comes as welcome news, as his discredited theories will no longer have a seat at the table.

Atlas' months-long stint in the White House was marked by controversy as he became a close adviser to Trump on the pandemic, adopting public stances on the virus much closer to the President's -- including decrying the idea that schools cannot reopen this fall as "hysteria" and pushing for the resumption of college sports.

In one extraordinary episode in October, Twitter removed a tweet from Atlas that sought to undermine the importance of face masks because it was in violation of the platform's Covid-19 Misleading Information Policy, according to a spokesman for the company.

Atlas was not on a call Vice President Mike Pence held on Monday with state leaders, according to a list of participants. During the call, Pence and members of the task force focused on vaccine safety and distribution as Covid-19 cases skyrocket across the country, according to his office.

Dr. Scott Atlas originally came into President Trump's view because Atlas served as a guest Corona virus expert on Fox News. Trump liked what he was saying and hired for the White House job. Dr. Atlas advocated the widely criticized concept of "herd immunity" which was just give up and let the virus infect the majority of the population.

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — President-elect Joe Biden will likely wear a walking boot for the next several weeks as he recovers from breaking his right foot while playing with one of his dogs, his doctor said.
Biden suffered the injury on Saturday and visited an orthopedist in Newark, Delaware, on Sunday afternoon, his office said.
“Initial x-rays did not show any obvious fracture,” but medical staff ordered a more detailed CT scan, his doctor, Kevin O’Connor, said in a statement. The subsequent scan found tiny fractures of two small bones in the middle of his right foot, O’Connor said.

... in the Trump administration fact free claims made on Twitter about the election proved impossible to substantiate in an actual US law court due to the threat of perjury charges.

If there is proof that Joe Biden has Alzheimer's, the world would be be very interested to know. If not , your fact free claim can be considered as accurate as the claims made by Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani or abandoned lawyer Sidney Powell.
