WHO advisory board member admits China engaging in 'massive cover-up' on COVID-19 origins

Jamie Metzl, an advisory board member for the World Health Organization, admitted Monday that communist-controlled China continues to engage in a "massive cover-up" to hide the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Metzl's admission came as the Wuhan lab-leak theory — initially dismissed by American media as a conspiracy theory despite a lack of evidence disproving the possibility — has gained significant traction in respected circles. Some scientists now even say that COVID-19 was engineered by scientists in a laboratory.
Following a rushed investigation earlier this year, the WHO concluded the possibility that COVID-19 escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology was "extremely unlikely."
An investigative team assembled by the WHO reached the conclusion despite being hamstrung by Beijing, which tightly controlled the brief investigation. In fact, Dr. Peter Daszak, a controversial figure who served on that investigative team, later admitted that WHO investigators essentially believed the information that Beijing gave them about COVID-19.
Speaking on Fox News, Metzl revealed the extent of Beijing's campaign to smother the truth about COVID-19.

"The Chinese have engaged in a massive cover-up that is going on until this day, involving destroying samples, hiding records, placing a universal gag order on Chinese scientists and imprisoning Chinese citizen journalists asking the most basic question," Metzl explained.
"The more that China stonewalls, the more suspicious that it looks," he added, speaking of the Wuhan lab-leak theory.
"China may not want to investigate the origins of this pandemic ... but we can't give China a veto over whether or not we investigate the world's worst pandemic in a century and then do everything we can to make everybody safe," Metzl said.

In a recent interview with CBS, Metzl confirmed the WHO's Wuhan investigation was all bark and no bite.

In fact, he explained China did not allow the outside investigative team to conduct its own investigation. Instead, Chinese officials conducted the "primary investigation," with WHO embarking on what Metzl called a "study tour."
"Everybody around the world is imagining this is some kind of full investigation. It's not. This group of experts only saw what the Chinese government wanted them to see," Metzl said.
"We would have to ask the question, 'Well, why in Wuhan?' To quote Humphrey Bogart, 'Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, why Wuhan?' What Wuhan does have is China's level four virology institute, with probably the world's largest collection of bat viruses, including bat coronaviruses," he noted.

... the new COVID-19 "D variant" is the most deadly in the world and is already 6% of all COVID infections in the USA.

Yesterday in the USA there were 13,707 new COVID infections and 305 deaths.

You can easily prevent being a victim of this disease by getting your first and second Pfizer/Moderna shots as soon as possible.. You might even win a lottery for doing do.

The "D variant" is especially virulent against young, healthy people.

While some people on this CTN thread know only how to respond with snarky comments, other readers around the world take notice.
You do not want to take unnecessary risks with the "D variant".

My first shot was AstraZeneca. I plan to get my second Pfizer/Moderna shot at the first opportunity.

The Pfizer vaccine is only 33% effective in stopping the "D variant" (Indian Variant) according to the CDC/ FDA/ and Pfizer.

Weird how this admin wasn't hitting their "vaccine goal" again (especially with "the young") according to multiple news outlets last week, and now, just like times before, a "new variant" (scare tactic) has emerged that they say is the "deadliest we've seen yet" (fear mongering)...., except this one "Mostly affects the 12 - 16 year old demographic" (more fear mongering), which as I stated before....is the age group with the least vaccinations.
It's almost like they couldn't get enough adults to get the poke (because at least half the population has common sense and followed the science) to reach their 200 million goal.....so they had to open it up to younger and younger people to get to that number, but now they are seeing that people of all walks of life are very hesitant to get the vaccine (especially in the African American communities). They had to drum up some kind of BS (new SUPER DEADLY TO KIDS variant) so they can try to convince another 60 million people to get vaccinated in less than a month to reach "their goal". And with vaccination rate now below 1 Million a day (and steadily dropping), it doesn't look like they'll reach that goal.
This might also be another way of trying to keep our kids and Lazy-Ass teachers out of school/ summer school, because as we all know (reported in the MSM)....the CDC has been hijacked by one of the biggest teachers' unions in the U.S., and has ignored factual science and data when it comes to children/ schools.

You realize that means it will create variants that the current vaccines will not be able to stop. Just like the flu does. Treatment is the only answer. Hydroxychloroquine is the best treatment as proven by complete tests conducted in 2005, 2009 and January of this year. Dr. Stella Immanuel and the rest of the front-line doctors were right but the liberal media tried to silence them.

haven't had a flue shot in 21+ YEARS never got the wuhan shot ( neither has anyone I know here in NC ) and we are just fine. must be our GREAT immune systems here in the south.
