Judge halts Biden vaccine mandate for health workers in 10 states | TheHill

Yessir! Nebraska is one of those 10 states!

Governor Ricketts, a bunch of the representatives, and a ton of healthcare professionals were opposed to the mandate here because it would have wreaked havoc on the medical system, and would artificially create a "healthcare worker shortage". If that happens, then everything from elective procedures to life-saving procedures would "have to wait" because of the lack of medical staff!

Judge Schelp in his 32-page opinion decided that the detrimental impact of losing qualified healthcare workers outweighs the need for employees to be vaccinated and said the mandate imposes a burden “on the ability of healthcare facilities to provide proper care, and thus, save lives.”

“The scale falls clearly in favor of healthcare facilities operating with some unvaccinated employees, staff, trainees, students, volunteers, and contractors, rather than the swift, irremediable impact of requiring healthcare facilities to choose between two undesirable choices — providing substandard care or providing no healthcare at all,”.

... almost all major US corporations have embraced getting 100% of their employees double vaccinated against COVID-19D. These same corporations are not hindered by a judges temporary injunction.
