The stimulus isn't socialism. The govt forcibly closed the economy therefore it owes us. It's our money after all.

Over the years and paying literally thousands of dollars to the government, feds and state, it's time for them to pony up a bit, has been since 82 when I was on unemployment then a small stretch on welfare, I have never needed anything of $ assistance from them, it's due we get some crumbs, God Bless America!!

I agree its not socialism to want the govt to pony up... its only natural... but with our peculiar form of capitalism... its possible for the company you work for to block your unemployment benefits... I had that happen to me when I was getting divorced...

I found that very insulting when it is my money... that was put aside...

I even find it more insulting that the country the great usa can't lend a hand when its workers are in need but can at the drop of a hat go to war and find cash to support other countries around the world for no other reason than they don't want an enemy country to get support.

when if they value their people half as much as they say then they will get 10 times the effort, patriotism, nationalism and dedication than they could even dream of which will spur the economic engine in amazing ways...

to me its common sense but to govt well we are just wage slaves... atleast thats what I think...

I am at part time currently and hoping it goes back to full time soon...
