Did that by creating a stock location on the companies management software.
Any stock i took got moved out to my boot(stock location) and then from there to a customer when needed.
When it was time for stock take my boot was checked as well.

Sure it can be done with existing system.
    Whatever

How about Excel? That's the way I've been doing it since 1999. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Created the stock location because the stock controller kept on pointing the finger at me for lost and missing stock.
After implementing that she had to find someone else to point to.
    Whatever

I just looked in the play store and they have a TON of inventory apps, although I have not used them. I would just install and try one of the higher rated ones. I would imagine that exporting data from the app as an Excel type file would be absolutely necessary.

why is this in Rants n Raves?

    should be in Business Talk!

any decent INVENTORY program could be used to give and take from a certain (car stock) location.

Excel is a good way if you don't want to buy software.. just be sure to +/- from the sheet when parts move.

was in inventory control for 13+ years before going into this industry for 31+yrs.

    Yes.
Still thinking it would better fit in Business Talk.
