People fill their brain with external information from various sources and then "serve" those information snippets like tennis ball "facts" back and forward between their revivals in a game of " fact-or-fiction" brain tennis.
And the eagerly watching crowd "Oohs" and "Aahs" as each served tennis ball information "fact" is flogged back and forward as "fiction" between players.

While monitoring local radio broadcasts I have not heard of any new Covid cases. Wheew!!, light at the end of the tunnel.

I would like to start a collective discussion on what facts people are gathering about the Covid bug in their local area(s).
You will need to monitor your local district ambulance or paramedic radio transmissions.
If enough people are tuned in on the scanner app there should be a correlation with local media broadcasts.

The above would only be practical for those in house lock down or self isolation. Knowing if there is local Covid hot spots to avoid could improve the situation for all.

The app does work. Must be a slow day, the only calls I have heard is a broken hip and a water leak at an apartment building. Good. No Corona calls.
Oh, and the app is a battery eater.

Ambulance service was quiet here yesterday afternoon late pm.
It's very active this morning 6am...

I plug my mobile phone into a USB port and then I bluetooth the phone speaker output to a surround sound amplifier. I can monitor the radio station(s) from other rooms. We're in draconan house arrest phase at the moment, so we have ample time to monitor radio activity.

I might change from my local station to another city an monitor for flu-bug movement hot spots in those areas. Might pay to have an early warning before it becomes a local issue.

You may like to monitor other cities to check the Covid bug is on the decline, which means its less likely to spread into your current area.

I sometimes monitor the USA police channels. They really do conduct themselves exactly like the US police documentaries we see on television here in Oz. It can become quite dramatic. No wonder they get around 2000 people monitoring those channels.
