Re: anyone here know how to make FAST ALCOHOL "not for drinking"??

You need a few basic things, at least that is what we have:
    1. Fireplace
    2. Boiler with lid(preferably copper made)
    3. Coil(preferably copper made)
    4. Evaporator(preferably copper made) inside drum full of cold water

Well i did find some some brugal 151 from the dominican republic i bought years back.So will 75% alcohol work safely?

Its quite safe when done using an electric stove element for heating...
Warning!!! never use and open flame heating source to distill.
The big distillerys use open flame to heat steam lines which go inside the wash boilers to evaporate the wash. They never use open flame anywhere near the boilers.

Ever poured wine into a cooking pot while making dinner.
There's enough water in the wine to cause it to evaporate an not catch fire.
    Pure alcohol will catch fire.

    As a test.
Make up a litre of sugar water(wash) and place a table spoon of yeast into it.
Wait a day or two, then boil the liquid in an open pot on the "electric" stove.
Hold the lid of a larger pot over the boiling pot an watch vapoured alcohol condense on the cold lid as it drips down into a cup...

If you place a thermometer into the boiling pot you will notice the liquid starts to boil at 78degs. Very little water is coming of yet.

The above should give you enough work place confidence.

Very few illegal stills catch fire.. they use bottled gas or firewood. Key is to get your lines SEALED . They use stream clay to seal the pipe joints.

The best home stills use a large electrical water boiling Urn elements bolted internal at the bottom of a recycled stainless steel drum or beer keg. No need to worry about flames getting to the fuel air mix inside the boiler drum.

If you decide to go further into building your own distillator, we might talk more about reflux heads, cooling towers and condensers... Along with automatic controls and simple temperature monitoring.

    till then....

One important to know. The head of the household may legally brew or distill adult beverages. It's been a while so I cannot remember the amount you are limited to.

That would depend on fed & STATE regulations.. and the permits might not make it worthwhile. For me to make 50gals of wine JUST for personal/family use.. 200$ permit AND I have to have health/ABC inspects.. not to mention other supply/resourse costs...
That's IF I worry about permits.

    Nature in all its wonder.
Every summer season here in our city, the birds gather by the thousands in a group of trees to eat the buds an flowers from the trees. If there is a rain squall or heavy dew during the period the flowers fill with water an ferment alcohol.
The birds eat the flowers full of alcohol and literally become rolling drunk. Some of the birds become that drunk that they fall off the branchs an are run over by passing vehicles.

Its a common sight to see pollie-parrot walking two steps sideways one step forward across the road...
