When I was in high school i got a job working the academy of music in nyc east village 14th st and
saw great bands like GENESIS and ROXY MUSIC...Bryan FERRY was smooth as silk and had an aura when he performed,,
I remember when he played there was always the hottest models attending just swooning over him...
His solo "BOYS AND GIRLS" album was my favorite and i remember just playing it over and over..

Honestly I feel jealous.

I had a drummer Room mate that was a west coast guy so I listened to a lot of the 80s LA metal scene even though I am an east coast guy and enjoyed the NYC punk scene. it was all good.

NY Punk was the best! So many to name Mad ball, Sick of it All, Agnostic Front, Murphy's Law, Cro-Mags, Bio-hazard, Gorilla Biscuits, Youth of Today and the list goes on. This song still sounds as good as the day it came out.

Honestly I feel jealous.

i feel blessed as i saw a ton of bands for free working a low wage BS job but got to listen in to rehearsals and even met Phil Collins wife at the time...
Saw the real complete Genesis with Peter Gabriel doing all his crazy stage acts..
Saw Neil Young with crazy horse...AS for those i would have loved to see id say THE DOORS,JIMI HENDRIX,JANIS,JIM CROCE,ROY BUCHANON"ONE OF THE BEST
GUITARISTS OF ALL TIME,RESPECTED MOVE OVERSEAS IN GERMANY...
I did get to see BOB MARLEY AND ALSO THE FULL LYNYRD SKYNYRD BAND at the BEACON theatre in nyc....SMOKE FROM THE GUITARS...
