Maybe in Canada but here they tend to purchase from dealers they know will provide the service and support they require.

Confirmed Coronavirus Cases in U.S. Children Rose By 90% in About Four Weeks This Summer, Bringing the Total to Over 380,000

As decision-makers weigh whether to reopen U.S. schools this fall, they face a daunting reality: COVID-19 appears to have surged among American kids this summer.

On July 9, there were approximately 200,000 confirmed cases in children; by Aug. 6, that number rose by nearly 180,000, an approximately 90% increase in just over four weeks, according to a new report.

That translates to an increase from 319 per 100,000 American children to 501 cases per 100,000, in just four week.

At Least 380,000 U.S. Children Have Tested Positive for COVID-19 | Time

While the effect of CoronaVirus on children is not yet well understood, their parents, friends and grandparents all become at risk.

Pretty convenient for the "No School" narrative.
I'm not saying that these kids aren't infected, but the timing of the release of this info is just a little curious.
The CDC and WHO both came out less than two weeks ago and said they saw no problem with sending kids back to school because children under 18 made up about .1 out of 100,000 (or 1 out of a million) deaths, and for most, the symptoms were mild to non-existent.
They made that statement on a Friday (7/31/20), then 3 days later (the following Monday), ALL the liberal media outlets suddenly "received reports" from "experts" and "health directors" that kids were being infected by the thousands and tens of thousands, with some reporting on Hundreds of thousands.
Were Kids "immune" all the way up until "4 weeks ago"? Why didn't they report that there was suddenly a surge 4 weeks ago? Why did they wait One Month (and one week before school starts) to suddenly "share this information"?

could this be another reason WHY they don't want to re-open the schools?

Here, in contemporary American society, there are generally two ways of looking at it: children belong to their parents, or they belong to the school system (which is to say, the government). In one vision, a child is a son or daughter, in the other, the child is a ward of the state.

    WRONG

Actually it's kind of the opposite to an extent. They (the "teachers") are worried that the remote learning is opening the door to "dangerous parents" hearing them spew their biased political beliefs/ racism beliefs/ sexuality beliefs/ and certain extreme liberal ideologies. "Conservative parents" are the biggest "concern".
So while they scream about not wanting schools to open up, they are simultaneously worried that they will be "found out" due to parents and siblings being able to hear their "curriculum" (brainwashing) over the online tele-learning services. One of those Catch-22 scenarios they've made for themselves.

Re: Will you send your son, daughter, niece, nephew back to school in Seot ?

By the first week of August, 90 children in the US had died of Covid-19, which represents less than 1% of all deaths, according to an analysis by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children's Hospital Association.

It is true that children are far less likely to get sick from Covid-19, as compared to adults, but they are by no means immune. They can become infected and they can spread it quickly.

It is also important to remember that a school community is made up of more than just young students. According to one recent analysis, nearly a quarter of teachers working in the United States school system are at higher risk of serious illness from Covid-19, either because of age or pre-existing conditions.

Just over the past few weeks, we have been given several clues of what may happen as schools start to reopen. An overnight summer camp in North Georgia had nearly 260 attendees become infected, though the CDC noted some could've contracted Covid-19 another way. A high school in Woodstock, Georgia, is temporarily closed after at least 14 positive Covid-19 cases in its first week. Hundreds are under quarantine in the county. Another school in Dallas, Georgia, opened and then closed its doors after six students and three faculty became infected. Their plan is to reopen after disinfecting the school, though it is not clear how much of a difference that will make, as there is no mask requirement -- and a single sneeze or cough could once again contaminate a classroom.

In the age of Covid-19, it seems we are all forced to become amateur epidemiologists, while also being the best parents we can be.
