Not good for the self professed Catholic SniferJoe !

Leading US Bishop: Biden's Promised Agenda Will 'Threaten Human Life and Dignity'

United States Conference of Catholic Bishops president José H. Gomez warned Americans in a statement on Wednesday that “we cannot stay silent” on President Joe Biden’s pro-abortion stance.
Gomez, who is also the archbishop of Los Angeles, emphasized in a lengthy statement that the Roman Catholic Church neither participates in partisan politics nor identifies with a particular political party. The archbishop said that the church aligns with the Republican Party on some issues and with the Democratic Party on others.
“Working with President Biden will be unique, however, as he is our first president in 60 years to profess the Catholic faith,” Gomez said, praising Biden for understanding “the importance of religious faith and institutions.”

“Mr. Biden’s piety and personal story, his moving witness to how his faith has brought him solace in times of darkness and tragedy, his longstanding commitment to the Gospel’s priority for the poor — all of this I find hopeful and inspiring,” Gomez said.
But the archbishop said that Biden has promised to pursue policy “that would advance moral evils and threaten human life and dignity.”

Abortion must continue to be the “preeminent priority” of American bishops, Gomez said, noting at the same time that abortion is not the only issue they must focus on.
“As Pope Francis teaches, we cannot stay silent when nearly a million unborn lives are being cast aside in our country year after year through abortion,” the archbishop said.

Pope Francis issued a statement on Wednesday urging Biden to respect the “rights and dignity of every person,” including those who “have no voice.” The pope made no direct mention of abortion.
“Abortion is a direct attack on life that also wounds the woman and undermines the family,” Gomez continued. “It is not only a private matter, it raises troubling and fundamental questions of fraternity, solidarity, and inclusion in the human community.”
The archbishop also said that abortion is a matter of social justice, reminding Americans that abortion rates are highest among the poor and minorities and that abortions are “regularly used to eliminate children who would be born with disabilities.”
Gomez expressed the hope that Biden would engage in a “dialogue to address the complicated cultural and economic factors that are driving abortion and discouraging families.”

Abortion was to keep the black race in check. Margaret Sanger (D) was responsible for Planned Parenthood. She was a staunch bigot that hated the black community.

Everybody with a few working brain cells should know this.. so is Sniffer just stupid or is this ANOTHER way for him to help the CCP? Just another way to make us dependent on foreign oil again.

Republican Senator: Canceling Keystone XL Means Oil Goes to China, Other Countries, or Less Safe Rail

Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) criticized President Joe Biden’s revocation of the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline, saying that the oil that would have traveled through the pipeline will go to China or another country or be shipped to the United States by rail, which Rounds said is less safe.
“Look, they’re going to pump the oil, and it’s going to go someplace. It’s too valuable not to, and we still need the oil. So, it’s either going to be shipped to other countries, including China, which has not the same type of environmental regulations that we have when it comes to the processing of that oil, or it could come back down into the United States to the specific locations where they actually know how to process it, to actually do that crude oil,” Rounds told Fox News in an interview aired on Jan. 23.
“This was the most efficient way to do it. It’s still going to get moved, but now they’re probably going to have to go to rail cars, and when you go to rail cars, it’s not as safe. And so, this was simply the most efficient way to move about 830,000 barrels of crude oil per day, that now will probably go either by rail or it’ll go to another country.”
Rounds said the decision will divert a lot of the oil onto rail cars, displacing grain shipments from his state. He also lamented the loss of 10,000 future jobs, including 2,000 Americans who were on the job when Biden signed the executive order gutting the project.

Keystone XL is the fourth phase of construction of the Keystone Pipeline, which adds a branch connecting terminals in Hardisty, Alberta, and Steele City, Nebraska, through a shorter route using a larger diameter pipe.
It has drawn attention since environmentalists singled out the project as a symbol of the fight against fossil fuels and for natural preservation. After President Barack Obama temporarily delayed the project in 2015, President Donald Trump issued a presidential permit in 2017 to allow the project to go forward.
Biden revoked Trump’s order on Jan. 20.
TC Energy Corp. is planning to eliminate more than 1,000 construction jobs related to the halt of the pipeline expansion project. According to the Association of Oil Pipe Lines’ CEO Andy Black, the move is tantamount to “killing 10,000 jobs and taking $2.2 billion in payroll out of workers’ pockets [and] is not what Americans need or want right now.”

No this isn't what we need ...TraitorJoe the USA needs to open up and get back to work!

One way is for the pipeline to stay in Canada and continue west to Vancouver where it can be loaded onto super tankers. From there it can go to tank farm ports on the US west coast such as Santa Barbara, CA. Or it can also go to Mexico, Korea (North and South), Japan and China.Due to ability to handle the vast quantity most will go to China.

Let's see, super tankers? Oh yeah, Exxon Valdez!!!

Mexican President: Biden Will Pledge $4 Billion to Central American Countries

President Joe Biden spoke with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, with the Mexican leader saying the White House would send $4 billion to Central American countries.
López Obrador on Jan. 23 said that Biden pledged the billions to help development in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador to stem migration from Central America to Mexico.
According to a summary of the call from the White House, the two spoke about a review of “bilateral cooperation on a range of bilateral and regional issues, particularly regional migration.” Biden also “outlined his plan to reduce migration by addressing its root causes, increasing resettlement capacity and lawful alternative immigration pathways, improving processing at the border to adjudicate requests for asylum,” and reversing some of the Trump administration’s “draconian” policies.
“The two leaders agreed to work closely to stem the flow of irregular migration to Mexico and the United States, as well as to promote development in the Northern Triangle of Central America,” the readout said. “They also recognized the importance of coordination to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.”
In June 2019, the Mexican president signed a deal with former President Donald Trump under which Mexico agreed to take steps to curb illegal immigration. Trump, in return, withdrew a threat to place tariffs on Mexican products.
Over the past several months, López Obrador had refused to acknowledge Biden as the president-elect and also defended Trump after he was banned from Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms.

“I don’t like anybody being censored or taking away from … the right to post a message on Twitter or Face[book]. I don’t agree with that, I don’t accept that,” said López Obrador, The Associated Press reported earlier this month after Trump’s accounts were suspended.
“How can you censor someone: ‘Let’s see, I, as the judge of the Holy Inquisition, will punish you because I think what you’re saying is harmful.’
“Where is the law, where is the regulation, what are the norms? This is an issue of government, this is not an issue for private companies.”
Biden, meanwhile, spoke with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau last week, coming after Trudeau expressed disappointment that Biden issued an executive order halting the Keystone XL Pipeline. The long-disputed project was slated to carry about 800,000 barrels of oil per day from Alberta’s oil sands to the Gulf Coast.
The White House, citing the call between the two leaders, said Biden acknowledged Trudeau’s disappointment with the decision.
“It’s not always going to be perfect alignment with the United States,” Trudeau said, according to AP. “That’s the case with any given president, but we’re in a situation where we are much more aligned on values and focus. I am very much looking forward to working with President Biden.”

Republican And Democrat Leaders Team Up To Stop Biden

Joe Biden ran on a platform of helping families who are struggling, due to the COVID panic. It would have been easy for him to help them, right? After all, it was Democratic governors who put these families in difficulties in the first place?
Most Americans are suffering because of state-mandated shutdowns. Millions can’t go to work, school, or go about their daily lives. The government came through with a one-time payment, back in April 2020. Since then, Americans have seen little in the form of federal relief.
Biden released a $1.9 trillion spending plan to target COVID. While it does deal with providing more resources for the vaccines, some lawmakers aren’t happy with one particular aspect of the plan. And both Republicans and Democrats are voicing their anger at old Joe.
A group of bipartisan Senators reportedly pushed back on the Biden administration on Sunday, informing the White House that it was providing too much money “to high-income Americans.”
“The senators told the White House officials they support spending more on vaccine distribution but some balked at the stimulus payments, urging the White House to make them targeted toward those in greater need, according to sources on the call. Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) pressed the Biden officials on why families making $300,000 would be eligible and urged a focus on lower-income workers.”
Even Sen. Angus King (I-ME) had issues with the amount of money that Biden was trying to get passed, saying, “This isn’t monopoly money.”
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) said that “the more targeted the assistance can be where it’s needed most, the more helpful.” [Source: Daily Wire]

Isn’t it funny how a Democrat like Joe Biden is trying to send out checks to people earning six figures? I thought Democrats were the “party of the people?” Weren’t they the ones who daily attacked Trump, claiming (wrongly) his policies only helped the rich?

But suddenly, Joe Biden appears all too eager to hand out relief to those who apparently don’t need it. Let’s be honest, a $2,000 check is nice, but it won’t help families who have been struggling to pay rent for the last nine months. Nor will it replace the small businesses that closed shop for good, or recover what has been lost over 2020.
The least the government can do, though, is move quickly to reopen closed states and provide some measure of relief to working families. Biden claims to be a progressive looking to help regular folks. But, as we predicted, he’s just another corporate puppet looking to help the rich and powerful.

I wonder how many Democrats will get on board to oppose his agenda?

Re: Just how Sleepy is Joe Hiden ???

Here’s Where Biden’s Campaign Money Really Came From

President Biden received a record-breaking amount of donations from “dark money” donors during the 2020 election cycle, despite his party’s long-held belief that such money should be more severely regulated.
Biden’s campaign was pushed to victory in part thanks to $145 million in dark money, a type of political donation where the donor and source of the money are not disclosed, which dwarfed former President Donald Trump’s $28.4 million in dark money raised.
Biden’s dark money haul was also enough to pass the previous record set by Utah Sen. Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign, which raised $113 million in dark money.
“He benefited from it,” Larry Noble, a former general counsel at the Federal Election Commission, told Bloomberg News.
Biden raised a total of $1.5 billion, a record fundraising effort for a challenger looking to unseat an incumbent president.
While Democrats have in the past proposed bans to the type of dark money donations, the effort to unseat Trump had them welcoming the funds in 2020.
“We weren’t going to unilaterally disarm against Trump and the right-wing forces that enabled him,” said Priorities USA Chairman Guy Cecil, whose super political action committee was designated as the preferred committee for outside spending.
Priorities USA used $26 million in funds that were originally donated to its nonprofit organization arm, a type of donation that current law does not require revealing the donor.
Despite having the advantage in dark money donations, Biden’s campaign called for stricter rules that would limit nonprofit organizations to $10,000 of political donations or force them to register with the FEC and disclose their donors. Under such a proposal, Priorities USA would have been forced to disclose its donors.

“We still look forward to the day when unlimited money and super PACs are a thing of the past,” Cecil added.
The Sixteen Thirty Fund received a flood of new donations for Biden during this past year’s election cycle, Executive Director Amy Kurtz said. The group had previously been involved in an effort to reform the campaign finance system, something the new money has now made more complicated.
“We have lobbied in favor of reform to the current campaign finance system,” Kurtz said. “But we remain equally committed to following the current laws to level the playing field for progressives.”
The White House did not immediately respond to the Washington Examiner’s request for comment.
