This is a big move to reduce America's energy dependence on foreign oil plus help clean the environment.

The Republican plan, nada, zippo, nothing.

Let the peasants freeze while the rich enjoy their record profits from their oil company stocks and dividends.

Specifically what Biden energy policy are you referring to?

I'm convinced that you work for the DNC. I mean, the reality of the situation is that energy prices have skyrockted under democrat leadership. And that's why they're about to lose control of congress.

... the great thing about the new energy bill is that it does not require any Republican votes!

The money has already been allocated from the ground breaking US Infrastructure Bill passed into law earlier this year.

... meanwhile the war in Ukraine has no end in sight forcing energy prices higher regardless of what politician is in office.

I remember when Obama ran for president. He said, and I quote:

"Under my energy plan, energy prices will necessarily skyrocket."

Uttered in 2008, still haunting Obama

Here’s one line that President Barack Obama might want to rewind: “Under my plan … electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

That quip from a January 2008 interview with the San Francisco Chronicle editorial board is making the rounds in conservative circles — even Mitt Romney referred to it last month – and it likely won’t go away anytime soon.

“If somebody wants to build a coal-fired power plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them,” Obama said, responding to a question about his cap-and-trade plan. He later added, “Under my plan … electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”

Haven’t been on for a while! Nice to see that nothing has changed, and these threads are still going strong! Ha!

Billy, how far away is your town to Hattiesburg? Got a pipe fusion job coming up down there, and will be there for just over a week towards the end of the month. Looking for things to do, and people to hang out with! Beers on me!
