Biden Now Admits His Tax Hike Could Include Those Making $200,000

backtracking because he knows he can't get all his projects done without more incoming monies. Another Lie from the Harris/Biden camp.

When Joe Biden unveiled his $3 trillion infrastructure bill, he told the American people that no one making less than $400,000 a year would have their taxes raised. He said, “no one making under $400,000 will see their federal taxes go up, period.”
In the immortal words of Independence Day Defense Secretary Albert Nimziki, “That’s not entirely accurate.”

On Friday, the president said that a two-partner family would be impacted if their combined income crosses $400,000. He also claimed that jacking up corporate and business taxes right at the beginning of the recovery from the pandemic “will not slow the economy at all.”
Does anyone else get the feeling that Biden and his advisors are just a bit delusional?
“It is a once-in-a-generation investment in our economic future, a chance to win the future — paid for by asking big corporations, many of which do not pay any taxes at all, just to begin to pay their fair share. And it won’t raise a penny of tax on a family making less than $400,000 a year, no federal tax, no addition,” he said.

The president’s description of the tax hike as applying to any “family” that makes more than $400,000 per year is a significant change from his earlier remarks, and could mean families on the cusp of affluence in areas with high costs of living are impacted.
By contrast, Biden said Wednesday in a speech in Pittsburgh unveiling the tax increase and infrastructure plan, “No one making under $400,000 will see their federal taxes go up. Period.”
In an interview last month with ABC News, Biden said, “If you make less than $400,000, you won’t see one single penny in additional federal tax.”

The number of families with two incomes exceeding $400,000 is a lot more than single taxpayers earning that amount. And if you have two children and a house in live in an expensive real estate market, even $400K doesn’t make one “wealthy.”
But it’s the rise in business taxes that should worry us all. Despite mountains of evidence to the contrary, Biden insists that raising taxes doesn’t slow the economy. “Raising taxes, the studies show, will not slow the economy at all,” he said.
When Biden starts talking about corporations and “the wealthy” paying their “fair share” in taxes, be afraid. Be very afraid.

Biden spoke after surprisingly strong job growth figures for March that indicated nearly 916,000 new jobs were created, lowering the unemployment rate to about 6 percent.
Biden’s plan would boost the corporate tax rate from 21 percent to 28 percent. It was lowered in 2017 by President Donald Trump’s tax reform law from 35 percent. The plan also would impose new taxes on overseas business profits and could include an increase on capital gains taxes on investments like stocks and real estate.
Republicans in Congress oppose tax increases, but Democrats who narrowly hold the House and Senate may attempt to ram through the bill under special budget reconciliation rules that avoid the usual 60 votes needed in the Senate.

Another problem with raising taxes is that it never generates the tax revenue promised by politicians. This has been proved over and over again in Europe when “wealth taxes” have been tried.
A growing economy would probably generate as much tax revenue as Biden’s grandiose tax raising schemes. Maybe someday, politicians will figure that out.

Democrats Turn On Ocasio-Cortez

One of the hardest things in the world to do is to get Democrat6s to turn down campaign contributions yet this week three of them did.
It’s not that they didn’t want the money it’s because they did not want to be associated with the donor. And who was that donor? AOC. The three Democrats, Reps. Carolyn Bourdeaux, D-Ga., Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., and Conor Lamb, D-Penn – have all declined the money are committed themselves to return it.

It’s not hard to figure out why. By the time the 2022 midterms roll around, voters will be upset with their socialistic policies and any candidate that wants to not be smeared by the socialist tag cannot accept money from AOC.
Recently, a nonpartisan group from Vanderbilt University and the University of Virginia ranked members of the house for effectiveness. AOC ranked 230th among the 240 Democrats in the House.
All three Democrats who rejected the donations are in vulnerable House swing districts and they are all considered to be endangered in 2020. Normally threatened reps will scarf up every penny they can unless the donor is problematic and sometimes not even then.

AOC is on the endangered list herself as New York is expected to lose one or two seats and the rumor has been going around for two years that her seat will be one of the possible two seats the Democrats will abandon.
She would either have to run in a district with an incumbent Democrat or run for higher office. But, she has very little support outside of her district. But I am sure she will try something.


Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign reportedly received wire transfer information from DCCC staffers without the higher-ups’ approval. Typically, vulnerable members will swoop up any financial boost they can find, but this time the donations came unsolicited and with no warning.
Staff at the DCCC reportedly did not foresee the double-edged sword of tying the controversial congresswoman to the party’s most vulnerable members in the House.
DCCC spokesman Chris Hayden did not talk about the specifics of the payments with POLITICO, but called the money transfers a “miscommunication.”

“We appreciate Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s ongoing commitment to a Democratic majority,” said Hayden. “Due to a miscommunication, some transfers were made in error, but that has been addressed.”
It sounds like the DCCC is turning their back on AOC … without the support of the Democrat and their assets in the media … she’s finished.

Pelosi Sneaks Tax Break For Her Rich Friends Into ‘Infrastructure’ Power Grab Bill

Nancy Pelosi is trying to add a tax break for rich Democrats in the infrastructure bill. She wants to restore the SALT deduction. (State and Local Taxes) Currently, they can only write off a maximum of $10,000 and she wants to make it unlimited. That allows the rich to write off their property tax, state tax, and local taxes. Millionaires save a bundle. The cost of her action would cost the Treasury a ton of money every year.

Since the tax reform bill’s passage in 2017, Democrats have been trying to get that thrown out to benefit rich New Yorkers and Californians. A five-million-dollar mansion in LA county pays 1% which comes out to $50,000. That alone gives them an additional $40,000 dollar deduction. That does not include state and local taxes on their income. Imagine the kickbacks the Democrats will rake in.
Pelosi called the cap “mean-spirited” and “a political action on the part of the Republicans.”

California is among the states impacted by the SALT cap, along with New York, New Jersey, and other places with high property taxes and expensive real estate.


Republicans immediately attacked the idea of eliminating the cap.
“Restoring the SALT deduction would once again force low- and middle-income people to subsidize wealthy individuals in high-tax states and municipalities,” Sen. Pat Toomey, a Pennsylvania Republican, said.

It will also give Democratic governors an excuse to raise taxes even more. Not that Democrats ever really need a reason to raise taxes. It’s in their DNA. So, the Democrats get a cut, the state will take a cut and Joe Biden will take a huge bite out of their wallets. Come to think of it, the rich may come out of this with a loss. You can only cut a pie so many times.


The majority of taxpayers still receive a tax break for writing off their state and local taxes. Capping the deduction was good policy at the time and good policy now.
he problem is that Democrats don’t want to have to face the consequences of their profligate spending. It’s not as easy to continually raise taxes to pay for their ever-expanding government when taxpayers begin to feel the pinch.


Democratic members in high-tax states like New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and California are under increasing pressure from their wealthy homeowners to get rid of the cap. They’re also hearing it from members of their state legislatures and local governments.
This may be one of the last chances they have to shoehorn the SALT deduction repeal into legislation before they lose their majority.

This is one way the government screws the little people.

Ilhan Omar Desperately Tries to Tie AR-15s to Bloody Knife Attack at Capitol

Radical Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota found a way to make Friday’s deadly auto and knife attack against U.S. Capitol police officers about AR-15 rifles.
Noah Green, 25, is the suspect in the Friday attack. USA Today reported Green rammed his car into two Capitol Police Department officers in Washington, D.C. outside of the Capitol, killing officer William “Billy” Evans. Green then reportedly exited the vehicle armed with a knife, a weapon which can be purchased virtually anywhere, and charged at other officers.
He was killed after police fired at him in self-defense.

The suspect described himself as a follower of racist Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan on Facebook, according to the New York Post. Additionally, Green’s ethnicity is non-white, so this story will most certainly disappear from network news broadcasts and other mainstream media outlets in the coming days.
But before any of that occurs, Omar apparently saw the tragic carnage reportedly caused by Green to connect his alleged actions to one of the Democratic Party’s sworn enemies: firearms.

Omar, who has made her opposition to police officers well-known, tweeted a shallow remembrance of officer Evans, although not by name, and then found a way to make his death about AR-15s.
“Heartbroken to learn another CP was killed while protecting the Capitol. My thoughts and prayers go out to the officer’s family and the entire Capitol Police force,” Omar tweeted.

The second-term representative for Minnesota’s 5th congressional district then went low.
“The death toll would have been worse if the assailant had an AR-15 instead of a knife,” she tweeted.

With no valid way to propose a bill for automobile, Farrakhan or knife control, Omar still found a way to bring the left’s feared AR-15 platform of a sporting rifle into the horrifying situation. Democrats are of course right now in the process of attempting to ban such weapons with a bill proposed by Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California last month.
Thus far, the bill has gained no traction. But Democrats never let a crisis go to waste.
In tying in a rifle with an auto and knife attack, Omar transparently used the death of a cop to keep her party’s anti-gun crusade alive. The shameless tweet was pure politics.

Omar might as well have tweeted, “The death toll would have been worse if the assailant had a Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor instead of a knife.”
Neither a fighter jet, nor a rifle, was used by the Capitol attacker — which didn’t matter to Omar. Anti-gun rhetoric had to prevail here. Additionally, linking the man to white nationalism seemed to be out of the question.

Specifically, the Post found that while Biden and others claimed the new law “ends voting hours early so working people can’t cast their vote after their shift is over.” As the Post noted, the new law does no such thing.

Critics of the bill also falsely claimed the new Georgia bill would prohibit food or drink from being passed out to people waiting in line to vote. As The Daily Wire previously reported, the bill does not prevent people waiting in line to vote from receiving food or water, but politicians and their staff cannot provide it in an effort to secure votes. Poll workers can pass out water or food as they see fit.
The Daily Wire’s Amanda Prestigiacomo also reminded critics of the Georgia law, who claim requiring voters to present ID in order to vote is racist, that African-Americans don’t see it that way.

Media Quickly Moves On From Man Who Killed Capitol Police Officer After Learning He Supported Louis Farrakhan

As soon as media outlets and Leftists learned the identity of the suspect in Friday’s attack on U.S. Capitol Police, they quickly pivoted to discussing gun control rather than continuing their narrative that “white supremacy” was behind the attack.
As The Daily Wire previously reported 25-year-old Noah Green, an African-American man who was a follower of Louis Farrakahn’s Nation of Islam, rammed two U.S. Capitol Police officers before getting out of his vehicle with a knife. Police shot and killed Green. One police officer, Billiy Evans, was killed in the attack.

Green’s Facebook page, which has since been deleted, described himself as a “follower of Farrakhan,” The Daily Wire reported. From The Daily Wire:

Long posts detailed Green’s life struggles and religious views, which include his belief that Farrakhan is Jesus. “I am currently now unemployed after I left my job partly due to afflictions, but ultimately, in search of a spiritual journey,” he wrote in part.
“I haven’t had much to lean on in the past few months,” Green continued. “I’ve been faced with fear, hunger, loss of wealth, and diminution of fruit. My faith is one of the only things that has been able to carry me through these times and my faith is centered on the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as Jesus, the Messiah, the final divine reminder in our midst.”
Green went on to describe Farrakhan as his “spiritual father,” without whose guidance he would have “been unable to continue.”
He signed his post as Noah X.


As The Daily Wire’s Ian Haworth reported on Saturday, numerous verified Twitter accounts initially rushed to assume the attack was carried out by a white supporter of former President Donald Trump. Once the suspect’s identity was released, many of these same people started talking about gun control and alleged systemic racism, allowing the Capitol attack to disappear from the news cycle.


The same tactic was used by the Left after a shooting at a grocery store in Boulder, Colorado, which left 10 people dead, including a police officer. As The Daily Wire previously reported at the time, numerous verified Twitter accounts reported, without evidence, that the shooter must be a “white supremacist” before deleting their tweets when the shooter’s identity was revealed. In that case, the shooter was shown to be of Syrian descent but who spent most of his life in the United States. The shooter in that case was previously “known to the FBI,” though the motive behind the shooting appears to have more to do with mental illness than anything else.
Just as with the recent Capitol attack, media outlets and Democrats shifted the narrative to discuss gun-control measures instead of the attack itself.
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), for example tweeted that the “death toll would have been worse if the assailant had an AR-15 instead of a knife,” a bizarre attempt to push gun control.

Illegal Immigrants to Receive $4.38 Billion in Stimulus Checks: Report

As Americans start to receive the latest round of stimulus checks, a new analysis reveals that about $4.38 billion will also go to illegal immigrants.
The Center for Immigration Studies estimates that 2.65 million illegal immigrants have Social Security numbers that allow them to receive stimulus checks. This group of illegal immigrants can be described as “aliens temporarily present without status,” according to Steven Camarota, director of research for the Center for Immigration Studies.
“These individuals are in the country illegally and could be required to leave. Yet, under the current system, they are still given work authorization and Social Security numbers,” he said.
They include Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and Temporary Protected Status recipients. In addition, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services issued 882,000 work authorizations and Social Security numbers to other illegal immigrants in fiscal year 2020, the analysis states. These include asylum applicants, as well as those applying for adjustment of status and suspension of deportation, among other categories.
Not included in the numbers are the 1.8 million illegal immigrants that the Social Security Administration has estimated use Social Security numbers that don’t match their names, according to Camarota. Another 600,000 have Social Security numbers from when they were legally in the country but overstayed their visa.
“There is simply no question that millions of illegal immigrants will receive billions of dollars in COVID relief checks,” Camarota said. “This highlights an even more disturbing fact—illegal immigrants are being issued Social Security numbers in large numbers. This is a clear indication that America is simply not serious about enforcing its immigration laws.”
Asylum-seekers are routinely given work authorization while they wait for their case to be adjudicated—regardless of the merit of the application. While almost 90 percent of those who claim credible fear when presenting themselves at the border pass the initial screening, less than 20 percent are ultimately granted asylum relief by an immigration judge. For Central Americans, that number is less than 10 percent.
During the last border surge in 2019, the southern border became so overwhelmed that most illegal aliens didn’t even claim credible fear, knowing they’d still be released expeditiously into the United States—especially if they were accompanied by a child. Only about 25 percent of illegal border crossers were claiming credible fear, according to Kevin McAleenan, acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, on July 12, 2019.
In Yuma, Arizona, less than 10 percent made the claim, then-sector chief Anthony Porvaznik said on April 17, 2019.

I have one customer that operates a helicopter crash test (mandatory for all off shore workers) facility. They strap you into a helicopter in an indoor facility and crash you into a swimming pool. Not every worker is willing to do that therefore higher pay for those who do.
